It's gonna be just one starting out but I actually thought about reworking her hair entirely and making it a separate bodygroup or something. I modeled her with both eyes so it'll be extremely easy. I'll run it by you for feedback if I get to it for sure.

That's true, I hope I do them justice. Susie's model is very close to finished. The main model is done and both normal and darkworld versions are in-game, just need to finish the c_hands.

I totally get that. My model has regular proportions because it's originally an Alyx replacement for HL2 and keeping those proportions keeps the animations consistent. I also just like regular human proportions a bit more and I'm going for a more pseudo-realistic, halfway cartoony look.

Like Isaac said, there's other models that go for that exaggerated style if you're looking for that.

2nd Update, I just got done with the textures, rigging and the face flexes. There's still some clipping and jank I need to fix and i still need to work on the c_arms as well. I uploaded some progress pictures.

It's probably going to take a while, I decided to remesh the model by hand using 3DCoat (by the way, awesome tool I love it, kinda janky though) and it's fully finished and looks great.

Now I just need to rig, make textures and facial animations and we'll be set. Gonna post some more screenshots soon. Hang in there!

Quick update, I'm just about done with the sculpt right now, I uploaded some pictures of the work in progress images at the end of the list to show what I've got so far. Just need to tweak some things before I bring it into blender for the final mesh. If there's anything glaring that could use a touchup let me know.

Absolutely. I had one in the works a while back and I can probably rework that one into something better, kind of like what I'm doing with Susie. It won't be starting from absolute square one which is great. I even had a finished Ralsei model, but the geometry was so shit I never released it to the public. Gonna focus on Susie for right now though, but for sure he's next.

Since the game got a big comeback onto everyone's minds, think you could make a Kris model? If you don't take requests then that's okay.

Doing more digging I may just not make an optimized version, was able to remove about 30 megabytes off the original 112 and combine the 4 models into two with just hair toggles. But the tri count is evil and I am unsure if I want to spend however long optimizing the mesh if the revamp will probably smash it lol

Im totally cool with it, but i'm actually going to rework the model entirely, (I got inspired again after ch 3 and 4 lol). I'm trying to keep it true to the better parts of the model as it is now. This was my first model and I know I can do a lot better. Stay tuned, I'll keep yall posted.

i like how the biggest texture in terms of filesize is a 2k texture of a single color.

also the addon is 112 megabytes idk why the workshop says it's only 25 megabytes.

I love this addon. I fixed the first person view model for the Casual fit because I like it a lot, tried to do the same for the Dark World one but it was too troublesome for someone as inexperienced as I am. Maybe I'll get around it some time...
