Is this mod still working properly? There’s a mod cap of around 35 before reskin mods start bugging out like generals or units missing body parts so I’ll leave this unticked for now until I hear something from @RobbStark
Royal_Lifeguard 8. dec. 2024 kl. 4:22

Mr.Angery 17. maj 2022 kl. 6:51
Can someone make this compatible with Vanilla? The Vanilla Units need a little more spice and god damn the models included in this mod are good
Leonidas91 17. feb. 2022 kl. 1:15
I'm coming back to DEI to try out the new 1.3 public beta - wondering how this mod interacts with the Barbarian overhaul in the new DEI update? Thanks!
Grug 1. nov. 2021 kl. 19:32
so this isnt compatible with vanilla is what im getting.
MEXI 30. sep. 2021 kl. 7:33
Vanilla version is possible ?
Rude bwoi aden 15. sep. 2021 kl. 22:05
so are the naked units supposed to have a blank nether region where their celtic "curved" swords are supposed to be or is it a bug? Just wanna make sure the mod is working correctly no homo of course (:
Ciaphas Cain 4. sep. 2021 kl. 17:12
@AngryViking98 I think it would be before DEI (CA launcher) or above DEI (Kaedrin's Mod Manager) so that the game recognises to use this reskin rather than the one in DEI.

If not then the other way round :'D nah the above should make it work mate.
AngryViking98 3. juli 2021 kl. 21:55
Should I put this before or after DEI?
CEMN 25. juni 2021 kl. 12:50
Hey! Big fan of the mod, especially removing those ridiculous loincloths... I noticed a small issue however, a few mustaches have very mismatched colors - such as darkbrown hair and light blond moustache like in this screenshot [imgur.com]. Deleting the hair_beards folder from the mod fixed the issue.
MEXI 2. juni 2021 kl. 14:58
Is possible to have a reskin of celts for vanilla version with new helmets of Celticus mods please ?
Fedor von Bock 24. maj 2021 kl. 6:27
not compatible with vanilla?
damianvincent 13. maj 2021 kl. 19:40

Skálmöld 13. apr. 2021 kl. 15:08
Great mod very immersive!
jcarlc84 12. mar. 2021 kl. 19:34
Is this mod implemented in the recent version of Divida et impera Ver. 1.2.7?
Anglo-Saxophone 21. dec. 2020 kl. 7:01
Also it turns out, I was having problems with certain units because I didn't activate Roman Models Extravaganza like the dummy I am, sorry for the trouble Robb
Actaragos 13. dec. 2020 kl. 13:49
Second quote: Always starting from the original.
http://remacle.org/bloodwolf/historiens/diodore/livre5a.htm Book V chapt. 28 (XVIII)

In this sentence, Diodorus is effectively talking about the beard, whait? Precisely beard and mustache, but not for all, only for some nobles (οἱ δ´ εὐγενεῖς).

In others hands recent archeological excavations have permitted to found a lot of aesthetic ustencils: shaver, tweezers, comb...
They were very careful of themselves

Also, we have iconographies like on coins, there is no presence of beards or whiskers. The hair is always clean and silky.

You should reconsider your perception of History.
Actaragos 13. dec. 2020 kl. 13:36
So, that being said, let's see why you're saying bullshit:

Your first quote, I took it in latin, cuz it always better (i did latin, don't know for you, that's probably why you are a kind of ignorant, btw how old are you?)

"capilloque sunt promisso atque omni parte corporis rasa praeter caput et labrum superius."

Caius Julius Caesar

This is about Brittons, not Gaulish. I know that it's look similar, but they are quiet differents.

Actaragos 13. dec. 2020 kl. 13:35
Are you baiting? I'm mean, are you dumb or just ...
You're dumb, and you know nothing about history cuz: first, you just read english translation, all translation are not always accurate, and secondly you totally forgot the subjectivity. I mean the fact that these texts are made by greek or latin authors. Just for your ignorance, greek claim themselve as superior and call other people barbaric. Don't forget that Celts have reach Delph, in case you don't know cuz you are probably dumb.

Therefore it is probable that they oriented their text to make the Celts (Gaulish) appear as barbarians by attributing them typical elements of the barabares like mustaches. Same for romans, don't forget that Tectosage have reached Rome in -300. Again, romans have a fucking and (obvious for a person who knows History) negative apriori on them.

Every fucking historians don't trust Ceaser because he is not objective, they take a step back. All that is written is used to serve the interest of caesar....
Anglo-Saxophone 5. dec. 2020 kl. 11:47
The source I provided literally said they shaved everything apart from their hair and moustache, are you autistic maybe?
Anglo-Saxophone 5. dec. 2020 kl. 11:43
"The Gauls are tall of body, with rippling muscles, and white of skin, and their hair is blond, and not only naturally so, but they make it their practice to increase the distinguishing color by which nature has given it. For they are always washing their hair in limewater, and they pull it back from their forehead to the top of the head and back to the nape of the neck... Some of them shave their beards, but others let it grow a little; and the nobles shave their cheeks, but they let the mustache grow until it covers the mouth." -Diadorus Siculus
Anglo-Saxophone 5. dec. 2020 kl. 11:41
It's funny, surely a Frenchman should know the most about the Gauls considering you roleplay as them. The Gauls and Britons were in fact related, and the Southern Brittonic tribes were of Gallo-Belgic origin.
Actaragos 5. dec. 2020 kl. 5:42
Lmao are you fucking kinding me?
First don't put gaullish with britons.

Also, lmao mother of gods Caeser, aka the most non objective man. Did you never learn to stand back on the primary sources because they got a lot a bias ?

It is not objective, we have external sources, and even coming from Romans who specify that the Gauls are extremely careful of their appearance see even more than the Romans themselves...
We found a lot of shavers, comb etc.

Saying that Gaullish weared mustache is like saying that vikings got horns on top of their helmets...

You’re 100 years late on Celtic archaeology and history. Go back to watch Barbarians.

Anglo-Saxophone 29. nov. 2020 kl. 14:11
@Actaragos Lmao no, Celts, whether Brittonic or Gaulish were known to have moustaches.
"All the Britons paint themselves with woad, which produces a dark blue color; and for this reason they are much more frightful in appearance in battle. They permit their hair to grow long, shaving all parts of the body except the head and the upper lip." -Julius Caesar on the Britons
Actaragos 29. nov. 2020 kl. 8:11
Remove the mustache and it's would be great
CarbonCopy 26. okt. 2020 kl. 22:11
Giving the game another whirl after the years and your mods are awesome, thanks for the work you did.
papirock 2. sep. 2020 kl. 8:14
MADNESS
Hello, for me the warriors no longer have bodies !!!? we only see their helmets.
Anglo-Saxophone 30. juli 2020 kl. 0:48
Some of the Boii units like the Drutoedammoi? (that's what the website calls them) have missing helmets it seems.
ludo.76 27. maj 2020 kl. 12:53

wstarenko 22. apr. 2020 kl. 13:57

Moriarty 19. apr. 2020 kl. 8:46

Rider of Tang 15. apr. 2020 kl. 22:58

Good work! Many thanks, sir!
War Pig 12. mar. 2020 kl. 15:21
Using this and your DeI Legion Extravaganza reskin. Excellent effings job. Makes this old game look modern.
Adders 2. mar. 2020 kl. 16:53
Hi, this looks great. Going to download for sure. But, is it for the Briton factions too? Or do they have their own mod? I've played Briton factions many times, currently Caledonians and it's weird that they all have short back and sides - and that there's no red-heads! :KneelingBow:
Dr. Philli Vanilli 13. feb. 2020 kl. 17:23
To be fair, Goma, there was a cult known to the Romans as "Galli" - which was the Latin words for "Gauls" - which practiced self castration.
Goma 3. feb. 2020 kl. 19:32
wow, I didn't know the Celts practiced castration!
RobbStark  [ophavsmand] 20. jan. 2020 kl. 20:52
I can't find any examples of what you're referring to. Which units have missing helmets?
ERT 20. jan. 2020 kl. 12:50
You need to review some of the unit variantmeshes again, I see several examples of units with no helmets on but with "crest" attached flying in the air. both cavalry and infantry
