MSR788 needs magazines but not MSR700 for some reason for me, and I don't even have this mod, i'm asking here because i'm not sure what's going on.

For some reason this mod disables building stuff (you won't see "Carpentry" menu option) I guess this is because it does something to the hammer so game don't see that you have one in your inventory

You should try using ItemTweakerAPI to make these changes without the risk of conflicts from game updates or other mods.

Ya, when you change the "reloadtype=" from rife too shotgun. It changes the sound effect.

Open up items_weapons with notepad. Ctrl+F, type in varmintrifle (or huntingrifle), find line of code named weaponreloadtype = rifle, change it to shotgun, delete line that has magazinetype.

Hey, how do I properly import the changes to conflicting mods? (The ammo & Magazine, for example). Could a patch or something like this be made?

Ah, I thought so, thanks Leon. It is simple enough to import the changes I made into other mods that change items_weapons.txt if there are conflicts

This mod is incompatible with any mod that affects items_weapons.txt.

So mods like Silencer / Suppressor Mod. or Ammo & Magazine icon MOD. Reason is those mods also contain a item_weapons.txt. So the game will only use one of them. There is a way to jarryrig this mod into another mod. Just got to change a few lines in the conflicting mod

Anti-social, I was able to apply this tweak to an existing savegame I had on build 41. You don't need a new save, first of all are you on build 41? Or could there be some sort of compatibility issue? Does the rifle have a magazine inside?

To clear up any confusion, this replaces the 3-round magazine system with a 5 round system that are loaded one at a time in the .223 and .308 rifles.
