is this only for persians? will kurds, afghans, balochs etc get islamic names removed too?

Would it be possible to make a version of this where greek characters no longer have christian names when they are not christian? no more Micheal or the like?

Is there a manual download for this? Steam is being a butt....

The changes to the name list ONLY applies to Zoroastrians as it simply moves many of the names like "Havez" and "Ruhollah" which are Islamic in origin to the Muslim-unique name list. The changes on the titles, on the other hand, are universal for all Persians (religious distinctions for titles can't be made).

Ohh! Yes this can easily be done, just takes a little bit of research into the historic names. As for flags, that is doable but would rather be difficult, especially for someone like me who has little experience. I think I'll probably start on the name changes for now because I really like that idea!

I know that you could just change it yourself but i was thinking more along the lines of a localisation thing. like how scotland becomes Skotland if ruled by the norse. perhpas, if you have the skill, you could make a flag mod for the shields so no more christian armenian heraldry.

That actually sounds really interesting! Maybe this can be implemented via a decision (ie. if you are a Zoroastrian and a Persian, and this title is under your control or your subject's control, you can change the name to its historical counterpart). I'll definitely look into it, but I'd probably make it a separate mod given how different it is from this one.

I like this mod alot. It is annoying that PDX did not take this shit into consideration when they made the old gods. This may be alot to ask but would it be possible to make it so that kingdoms and the like change along with the persians ruling them? like daylam becoming parthia or sogdiana or turkestan becoming sakastan? Armenia becoming Hayk? Georgia becoming Kartil? anatolia becoming pontus, Iraq becoming Aroristan etc etc?
