If not -The 4 TPY Balance Mod - Build, Research and Recruit ...will just be another 1 Turns per year Hardcore Mod

Compatible with other 4TPY mods like - just Remove the Grand Campaign on Imperator Augustus map (4TPY) mod
and Add:
- All Factions Playable
- 4 Turns Per Year Mod ( 4TPY )
- Italian Alliance (+SPQR) (4TPY)
- Grand Campaign Shuffle (4TPY)
- Total War: Spartacus Rises

wheres the 4 turns per year balance mod
Animu Lady  [author] 26 Feb, 2015 @ 12:51am
Sorry for the Delay - So the Combat speed is the same as in Emperor Edition version of the game for balancing pourposes - there are 1300 new custom units in this Mod Compilation.. Its a bit slower than the Combat speed of the pre-Emperor Edition version - slower, strategic to make your moves but not to the extremes to get bored. Now the Combat speed got the compromise for all players - not too fast and not too slow and get bored ,when playing ,and no needs to press the Triple speed button again... Oh btw the AI is also strategic, tries to kite you, not rushing you with eveything, stays in formation, prepares for rear charges and flangs you with the cavalry.

I do have a question, and I can't check because no Rome 2. But, how are the battles in this mod? One thing I saw when I was playing on my friends PC, was that battles were way too fast. And like toontotalwar, I was looking at his changes and he made them FASTER. Which I thought was super lame. Vanilla is already way too fast. Do any of these mods change that at all? Or have any suggestions on actual slow, strategic combat? That was only thing I didn't like when I was playing it without mods.

I don't have Rome 2 yet. Money has been really tight, but maybe next steam sale on it.

I did buy Attila recently (should have went with Rome 2 :( ), but I think I'll be waiting for mods and DLCs to come out as I can't bring myself to even launch it. I did play Rome 2 on my friends PC, but I rarely see him...but I found it WAY more fun than Attila. He didn't even have any mods or DLCs, and it was before the EE edition.

With that said...while I don't have Rome 2. I know when you make mod compilations or mods of any kind...people tend to take it for granted and the modder doesn't really get any thanks. So, I want to let you know this looks amazing and it looks like you did a really good job on it. :) Once I get rome 2, I'm definitely getting this :D

Just read the Text at the begining - My Advice :P
Broadcaster_Red 18 Jan, 2015 @ 6:31pm
I'll try that eventually, thank you for the support, I took the lazy mans way out, uninstalled all mods that were "out of date" that did it
Animu Lady  [author] 18 Jan, 2015 @ 2:00pm
Delate all the mods you have from the Data folder, Unsubscribe all mods and then press Subscribes to all and you are ready.Just tested it if it works for you mate.

And that mod pack got too much Content - He got at least 50 unit packs - and also i dont like some of the mods that he added.
One tip for people seeing this, if they aren't familiar with compilations in Steam: if you like many of the mods in My +FrozenmenBG+'s Rome 2 Overhaul Collector's Edition Mod Compilation, but not all of them, you can still check out my comp and subscribe to the mods individually. So if you don't like one particular thing, you can still use my compilation to get everything you want, but easily leave out a mod or two that you don't want. It's a pretty nice feature since we all know that customization is the best aspect of mods.Toon's All in One mod cant do that.
thaygiaomap2000 28 Dec, 2014 @ 6:12pm
oh Toon creat a mod call All in One , cointain over 100+ small mods :-)
Tnin 20 Dec, 2014 @ 10:59am
I have a great pc, but just like the in-game achievements and trophies I could care less about rain fog or clouds that suck up performance. They're like the products in the as seen on TV aisle at the store, cool but you wont catch me using them hah!
Animu Lady  [author] 19 Dec, 2014 @ 3:50pm
I didnt added the no cloud rain or fog mod and the no trees on the map mod from the Campaign map because this Rome 2 - If I do I just play Rome 1.whats the point. If you got a weak Pc thats ok.but with people with good PC's -No
Tnin 19 Dec, 2014 @ 5:16am
Upvoted, Favorited and Shared. Out of curiosity, how come you didnt add the no cloud rain or fog mod? No one cares about that stuff and it really helps run the game smooth.
Animu Lady  [author] 19 Dec, 2014 @ 5:12am
I garrantee that it will work till the end

Yes - enable all out of date mods
and just play
Tnin 19 Dec, 2014 @ 5:11am
Do you have to enable out of date mods?
Tnin 19 Dec, 2014 @ 5:09am
Alright I'll give it a shot, if thats the case I'm impressed. I tried so many times to start a collection and keep it going. Thats hard work.
Animu Lady  [author] 19 Dec, 2014 @ 5:05am
YES - passed at least 10 Campaigns so far with all those mods - Have Fun Bro
Btw I just added 1 new mod
Tnin 19 Dec, 2014 @ 5:03am
Do all these mods truely work together? Been playing since day 1 and I love the mods and their modders. Saw your post on the Better Buildings Icon mod and was curious about your collection. Will definitely upvote and favorite if these are really all compatible.

Updated For The latest Patch and DLC
Maestermint 26 Jul, 2014 @ 10:13am
Sounds great! :)
Animu Lady  [author] 26 Jul, 2014 @ 2:42am
For the next update of the compilation when patch 14 comes im planning adding UI mod for each type of culture , Decreased Replenishment Rate of Mercs Pool , giving some major nations a small money boust ,making Early Civil War mechanic harder in the mid camp and dont let the Civil war nation starve to death. Also more Strategic Thinking by making armies using the food when they are campaigning in enemy lands + higher upkeep .And maybe some nerfs - max 1 per type of agent on the map .In 4 turns per year mode they are OP.More corruption % at the later levels of the game to slow the steamrolling effect in the game at the end. Mainly this
Animu Lady  [author] 15 Jul, 2014 @ 12:04am
Yes - The reason this collection does not include a 4 turns per year mod in it is that you you are free to choose the 4TPY mod in my second Compilation

If you want to Use the "4 TPY Balance Mod - Build, Research and Recruit" Mod then Use ONLY 1 MOD from my
+FrozenmenBG+'s Collector's Edition Additional Mods v13.0 Mod Pack
Link - http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=264633836
If not - its just an another 4 Turns per year Hardcore Mod

- Compatible with other 4TPY mods:

All Factions Playable mod
Four Turns Per Year Mod ( 4TPY )
Roman Houses: Familia Romana (4TPY)
S.P.Q.R: Imperium (Senate) (4TPY)
Total War: Imperium Aeternum (4TPY)
Total War: Spartacus Rises
The Maccabees 1.2

Have fun Bro !!! :Birds:
Murugan 14 Jul, 2014 @ 6:29pm
Is there a reason this collection does not include a 4 turns per year mod in it? Is it not compatable with something in the mod? You have Dresden's 4 turn per year balance mod, but not the 4 turn mod itself. Is it it incompatable with the 4/yr mod?
Animu Lady  [author] 2 Jul, 2014 @ 5:40am
Mine GTX is 450. playing the game on 25-40 fps.But for 3 years the PC was great - never left me down .But using Rome 2 now - its shows that my PC is tarting to get old
Maestermint 2 Jul, 2014 @ 3:13am
Yeah, you do need a pretty powerful PC to handle those unit sizes. I have a GTX 780 and an i5 4670k and I was able to play with 480 men/unit with around 40-50 fps at all times. But I recommend using 1,5 in the multiplier, or 240 men/unit as transport ships get two ships and the AI derps out if the surpasses 2 (320 men/unit)
Animu Lady  [author] 2 Jul, 2014 @ 2:53am
Thanks bro.Btw I tested yesterday Divide et Impera v.0.9h Mod with my 4 years old PC and the game lagged like hell and i watched The game in Slideshow from the 2x unit sized men in the 40 units in that custom battle . I think it will lag also here with my old PC.I can add more mods in this direction but some people may have old PC-s and wont be happy about it.There Has to be a Compromise somewhere.

Thanks for the Info bro.Gonna add your comment to the Text above :) :) :) :) :AngrySword::Birds: And Just dont forget to thumb Up and add it to your favorites. Love youa bro :)
Maestermint 1 Jul, 2014 @ 10:20am
Btw, starting units won't be affected by this and will still have the normal size.
Maestermint 1 Jul, 2014 @ 10:16am
I found a workaround for the unit sizes! Just use the ESF editor to edit your save file (just save your game first thing you do when you start a new campaign and edit that one) and multiply the unit sizes! Works perfectly with all unit packs too! This will also give more ships per unit.

1) using ESF editor open up your save game. (Open ESF as admin)
2) Click on compress_data >> campaign_env >> campaign_setup >> campaign_setup_options
3) Change the second number to whatever you like. 2 will give 320 men per unit (2x160). 3 will give 480 men per unit (3x160) and so on.

More about this on: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?620839-How-to-edit-unit-sizes-in-Rome-II-total-war-(number-of-men-per-unit)
Animu Lady  [author] 29 Jun, 2014 @ 1:59pm
Yes. Sorry bro. I wanted to add them too but this is the reality
Maestermint 29 Jun, 2014 @ 11:24am
You mean that the mods that does increase size wont do it for custom units and that is why it breaks balance?
Animu Lady  [author] 29 Jun, 2014 @ 10:49am
Yes I think ,but it brakes the balance between the custom - vannila units. The vannila units become soo powerfull vs the custom and at that point whats the point to have 600 unused 600 new units in the game.
Maestermint 29 Jun, 2014 @ 10:28am
Is there a mod that gives like 3x unit sizes that are compatible with unit packs?
Animu Lady  [author] 28 Jun, 2014 @ 8:56am
But the Main focus of the mod pack is Stability ,Easy Instalation and a reasonable Content. You know the feeling when you are on turn 150 and 2 mods after 1 big patch will not work together and you Rage Quits your epic Campaign.Im just trying avoiding this .Other mod Compilations have failed at this big level of Content - look at ToonTotalWar's Mod Compilation - for 12 weeks his Mod Pack was outdated. My mod Pack I more flexiable than the rest I think.
Animu Lady  [author] 28 Jun, 2014 @ 8:45am
About GEM mod i think it works - I still dont have mod that changes the lighting Effects of the Game.I personaly dont like that mod -I used it once some years ago on Med 2 total war and I hated that mod's view on the lighting Effects since. With Rome 2 's mod i see the same thing.
I dont know about the aztek's mod - but I see it from shots thats better than GEM.

Animu Lady  [author] 28 Jun, 2014 @ 8:44am
The only real reskin units mod in this mod pack is the Eastern Satrapies mod.
In Rome 2 there is a limit to the mod files that can be used together at 1 time. Its about the Memory thing that Rome 2 uses...And The vannila files that are modded by the Ancient Colors mod ,some of them are already used by mods from My mod pack. In this case the Recruitment sistem by the Epic Campaigns mod

Btw Holland_NL I just started testing the Mod Pack with a Mods that changes the Graphics of the game - my main problem is that My PC is 4 years old and im running the game mainly on Low and unit details on extreme - So this is a problem - I cant see what minor things are changed by modders in the hourses , arty, walls ladders and so on.In the screen shots by those mods I see no difference. On other units like or siege towers i see the wood like it is painted before the battle with some Latex from the Local furnicure store.
Holland_NL 28 Jun, 2014 @ 7:22am
No I mean mods that improve the looks on the battlefield like g.e.m. (which i assume it will be).
A better examle would be ancient colours or mods that reskin units. And how do mods that improve the textures of horses, siege engines etc interact with the pack? (since it has so many extra units)
Animu Lady  [author] 28 Jun, 2014 @ 6:34am
Im glad that you liked it !!! :D You mean a User Interface mod ?? If your anwer is yes im recomending you the Grudge's Total User Interface - the mod is in my +FrozenmenBG+'s Collector's Edition Additional Mods v13.1 - the link is above
Holland_NL 27 Jun, 2014 @ 11:44pm
What kind of aesthetic mods are compatible with this? which ones would you recommend? Or is the special effects enhancement enough?
Holland_NL 27 Jun, 2014 @ 11:18pm
Very well made, this compilation might just convince me to get the dlc and play the game again!
BM 26 Jun, 2014 @ 3:53am
Thanks for letting me be inserted in your collection
Maestermint 22 Jun, 2014 @ 3:12pm
Nvm just saw the volcano battle mod :P
Maestermint 22 Jun, 2014 @ 3:10pm
You sir are the most brilliant man ever! Thank you for this glorious collection!!
One question though, is there a combat mod that is compatible with so many unit mods?
Animu Lady  [author] 22 Jun, 2014 @ 6:14am
Are they compatable with the Traits, Talents and Toadies: Character Overhaul Patch 13 mod by Dresden?
Blueberryies 22 Jun, 2014 @ 2:40am
I have several ui graphics mods that improve ancillaries, wives, and skill cards. If you are interested in putting these features into your compilation you are welcome to do so and I would like to see more people enjoy my mods.
