I like the mod idea, I just want to give you a little info on grow lights. Light that plants use (photosynthetically active radiation) ranges from 400 to 700 nanometers. UV light is below 400 nm, and isn't used by plants.

I'd suggest editing your description to something that outputs 'full spectrum' light instead.

Sorry if that rustles your jimmies, but I have many years of experience in actual hydroponics.

btw there is a mod called Light Radius (that can help you plan out your gardens etc as it shows how far the light will reach)
