Won't allow me to baptize my grandkids. Mod is broken

So, from what I've noticed, if you're trying to baptize your grandson, the option doesn't work ("Notable clergyman available to baptize" is not true). However, if a new child is born at a similar time, the option will be activated for both your child and your grandchild, and you can then baptize them. I tried modifying top_liege = { character = ROOT }, since apparently ROOT refers to the child, not the decision taker, but to no avail.

Anyone who wants to play around with this or any of my other mods are free to update them. I don't think I'll have time to revisit CK 2. I don't think I have time for Ck 3 at this point.

The mod doesn't work from what I can tell... a real shame, since this is like one of THE annoyances with CK2 that Paradox never fixed.

I'm doing something wrong, but just what that is, is the kicker.

I didn't know this mod was here until now. This will really come in handy later. But for now, something else...

All but one of my grandchildren have been baptized. The one that was is the one that was born after I died and moved on to my successor. Do you think you could help me figure out what parameter I'm missing in the console command to baptize my remaining children by The Pope?

add_trait baptized_by_pope [Child's ID]

Problem solved, right? Kinda. Thing is, I'm not satisfied with the trait reading just as "Baptized by"

It doesn't have the The Pope's name, in this case, Pope Stephanus X. I tried a few possibilities. Pope's ID followed by Child's ID. Child's ID followed by The Pope's ID. baptized_by_[Pope's ID] [Child's ID] None of them worked. Any ideas?

@Tyraelion Actually making it close relative was my first thought, but it failed somehow. It's been awhile so I don't remember what I did. I'll play around with it and see if I can get it to work.

I was always annoyed by this as well. I would love a close relative version. Anyways, good job.

It's not achievement compatible, if that's what you mean. Nothing that's not strictly cosmetic will be achievement compatible.

@Chitose LOL well I did think about adjusting the costs because just baptizing my own kids can get expensive. Maybe there's a way to subtract the cash from Aztecs?
