The peaceful way - diplomatic relationships

Hi there, I would like to make a mod that would add a different solution to the Parsley Sage Rosemary Thyme quest, because it really annoys me. Could you give me some tips on how to do that? (Judging by the fact you made this mod I assume it should be possible?)

I wish the developers of the game made more options instead of forcing its small community to do it lol

a shame but at least I know what to do. Thanks a lot

That option is available after you return to York victorious (from the battle of Yngilwood) - if you meet the proper conditions to make that storyline viable:
- you must be in control of Orkney
- you must have diplomacy greater than 4
- you must be willing to make a couple of sacrifices along the way...

So if you've reached the point where you're outside Dun Phris and have to decide between the factions, you're already past the event in question, I'm afraid.

One question, how do you start peace with the two factions, is that I have reached the point of no return where you must choose one of the two factions.

Ok I don't think that's possible, but I haven't tried it yet. Of course, you can always add skills that are not available due to nationality etc.
I do know that you could add your own legendary items if you wanted...

Oh no, I meant modding skills, not adding them:lunar2019crylaughingpig:
If there is a way, could you please teach us a little bit?

Yes there is, but you don't actually need to use a mod for this - you can just use the in-game command line for adding new skills...

Most interesting! Is there any way to edit skills as well?

At the moment, no - for a couple of reasons:
1) It's not terribly important to the overall story arc which path you choose, so it's not absolutely necessary to improve it.
2) It's so early in the game that there are only very limited options to change it
3) I unfortunately don't have the time at the moment...

Do yo uhave plans to implement a better peaceful solution to the rats problem in ribe? xD

That is very, very interesting! How many other people know about this? How much new content could be created this way? Is it possible to expand the map for example?

Let's put it this way - I've pushed the Editor past what the developers announced it could do.Technically all of my mods do this already, but only on this one it's getting really apparent. Indeed, you can mod the game to very high degree - the only drawback is that occasionally, modded part don't always actvate properly, and one has to fiddle with the downloaded files from the workshop a little in order to get it to run as expected.

How will this work? I thought only camp events are modable? If this is possible then the game could be modded much more profoundly then I thought...
