Yes, all the pots have 1% chance to drop Vault key :)

Starbound does have a sort of rudimentary mod load order, you can force the game to load mods first or last by setting the value to be 9999 priority for first or 1 for last

Not exactly because the Ancient+ edit drops for mobs, pots and chests.
and also this game does not have mod order.

you may try it, though, find vault and smash pots, open chests if it crash or not, if not then either my or his mod will rewrite just these 3 things and the rest will stay from his mod.
