It is very simple to make this mod compatible with SFO. Open character_skill_nodes_tables, change every Tier number by add it with 10. Skills add by SFO usually use Tier 0-10 in indent 3.

@Imminent could you see if your able to get into the mod manager? I've been trying to use it but mine keeps saying that im unable to get in. but when I take ours out everything is good. Tested & it's one of our tables that we put for the vortex.

I've uploaded a working version of your pack. You can follow that format for pretty much any vortex spell in the game. Some important notes:

1. Make sure you change the "Unique ID" field in unit_special_abilities_tables. It has to be unique to every other ability in the game. Fortunately the value set is large enough that you can just randomly put in a long string of digits an not have to worry about collisions for the most part.
2. Leave the entry for "Overpower Option" in unit_abilities_tables blank for non-spell abilities. Overcasting doesn't work for abilities that don't cost WoM as far as I know.
3. You were missing the .loc entries for the new ability. Follow the format in the example and you shouldn't have any problems with the display.

@Imminent I've done chain lighting & it works but after trying to do fire strom it doesn't work. Is there a way you can look into this? I know I'm asking out of the blue but would appreciate it alot

@imminent would you happen to know how to put vortex spells onto a LL? I've been trying to do so but it just has the picture of the spell there and isn't working

Moving the existing skill tiers would be very easy, but it could also potentially ruining peoples save files so I am hesitant to do so. With Warhammer 3 around the corner I was planning on making this mod compatible with SFO for that version since I imagine most people will be moving to that title once it launches. I'm not opposed to the idea overall its just an issue of backwards compatibility with people's existing saves.

Would it be possible to push the tiers of skills in your mod out further to about 100 to help avoid compatability issues with other mods using the skill tree? If that's something you'd be willing to update I'd be willing to help since its just updating the character_skill_nodes_tables

Yeah running a few lord skill mods. Was hoping there wouldn't be an issue since other lords(atleast for Tyrion, Alith Anar, and Alastar) don't have issues. Oh well.

Is Imrik working for anyone else? I might have a mod incompatibility but his lore of fire cant go beyond the flaming sword skill cause the next skill needs 4 skill points in the previous one.

Also, is there a possibility to ask for requests? was wondering if you would be willing to make a separate mod just for Alberic like you did with the other lords? Which gives him the Lore of the Seas (with the Kiss of the Deep as the new passive).

Also, if possible, could that mod also give the lore of the Seas to the generic lords for Bordeleaux as well? And give all prophetess lords for Bordeleaux the Mist of the Lady from the Fey Enchantress from the start? (which also has a nice water theme to it).

Perhaps the city of Bordeleaux could give these effects to both generic lords as passive traits when you recruit them? To whichever Bretonnian faction has it?

I know this will be a personal request, but I always loved the element of water in fantasy, and I feel that this will really compliment the water based Bordeleaux. And it would mean a lot if you could make this. If you'd like, I would be happy to compensate you for your efforts! As your work is simply amazing :)

This mod is amazing! Thank you for making this :)

However the passive trait for Alberic Bordelaux does feel a little out of place. Could you perhaps give them the Kiss of the Deep passive instead? That honestly makes a lot more sense, as Alberic is known to call upon Manaan to smite his foes with crushing water.

Plus it would be overall more useful as it gives damage to all your enemies.

Would you consider adding that change? the rest of it however is simply amazing!

@Smoking_GNU the issue with that is I believe editing starting units requires modifying the start_pos file, which would cause a ton of compatibility issues and would increase the size and complexity of the mod for comparatively little benefit. I know there is redundancy there, but I think overall its a minor thing

Just a quick question, for those LLs that receive a starting hero caster with the same school of magic as the LL here on the list, what would be the likelihood of this mod changing that caster type to something else at some point? For instance, with Rakarth having beat magic (fits perfectly well) it's rather redundant to start him with a Beast sorceress.

Update is pushed, Lore of Beasts for Rakarth mixed Skaven lores for Queek. Made it direct combat/summoning focused to fit thematically with Clan Mors.

Going to push an update for Rakarth in the next few hours. Will probably go with just pure Lore of Beasts since he IS the Beastlord. Might include another Lord in the update too...
