Hint - As you start your journey to siding 7. Ensure you have the right amount of wagons , just check the numbers of the last two wagons on F4. On my second attempt got a cross yet again, found out on attaching the long consist , that somehow I'd decoupled the last two wagons.

Check the map, East Victorville is north of where you start.

You take the cars from 6 and stage them on 5. in short just put everything that is NOT a Container wagon on 5 and keep the 4 containers.

Sorry to ask that I am confused about this scenario . The two locomotives did go via Victorville Siding 5. Now the second thing is " Marshall 362793, 31911, 363606, 202585, 601411, 302612, 242232, 242099 at East Victorville Siding 5.. I don't see any 8 cars on that track. Where do I find this to marshall the cars? I am not sure where is East Victoriville Siding 5? All I know that I did run two locomotives through Victorville Siding 5 but not East Victorville Siding 5. Sorry

Hey John, you need to sort out the 4 Container wagons that are mixed with the freight on siding 6. 1) Put ALL non Container cars on siding 5, keep the 4 Container wagons. 2) Couple the 4 Container wagons to the formation of Container wagons on siding 2. 3) Then take everything on siding 2 down to the final drop point: siding 7. Marshalling can be confusing but I dont think that was the issue.

No it isn't a timed scenario. Sometime duplicate car numbers will give an X but I always check for that. I'll look again.

On a second attempt, first resulted in doing the same mistake as others. But this time after shuffling the wagons a bit more, counting the amount of wagons in the assembled consist heading for siding 7 and then double checking I had the right wagon numbers. Still got an x on backing into siding 7 - is this a timed scenario?

It tells you the 4 wagons numbers needed on the way up to the siding. :)

As in a previous comment did not know I had to collect the 4 double stack container wagons and failed the drop step. Still a nice scenario.

OK RB, it's ok now. It was my mistake. After the marshalling tasks were completed, I didn't realise that the four double stacked container wagons that we cut out had to be included in the trip to Victorville Siding 7.
After adding them, it all worked fine.
