Then there is the Steward who collected a 'special tax' or 'from the people who want to give you a gift' or some such, and then wants land in return...and you NEVER get a chance to refuse the cash. Yeah, bribery and blackmail get you a prison cell, too. Say, sucker, you got the cash...KEEP IT and consider that payment for a job well done, a gift from the crown! Do it AGAIN and you don't even get a prison cell, but you will be lacking a head and your lands go back to the crown, got it? You NEVER get a chance to see through their chicanery with a decent Intrigue skill and yet it is blatant to the player.

Petition to make the *do not click* text red rather than the "fuck you" text. It feels more natural at a glance to click the non red options as red usually indicates bad.

Or how about the 'trying to get land for a landless son' from a Vassal? How about: does the sucker deserve any land? Really that unlanded son prestige hit has got to go away as most sons realized that they weren't getting jack unless they worked for it. Depending on inheritance system once you got the first one landed, that should be that. Later boys getting the shaft was the norm for that era, and there was no prestige hit in not doing so as you had prioritized your family needs and everyone recognized that. And if I handed you a Duchy, then the answer is: NO.
