Not sure if it's a bug, but i cannot select Grad Zeppelin Class even tho i checked all requirements. Any solutions? The Mod feels great otherwise :)

I am a sucker for the naval and air designers, and an even bigger sucker for the premade templates that this mod provides.
I would LOVE to see an update for this mod that covers BBA.

May need an update due to 1.12.1 changing the naval tech tree

Works in German Language very good too. Thanks for the Work you make with the normal untuched R & D-Tree we have from the latest Base-Versions and all DLCs.

That´s cool and convients to my Playstile. Hope it dosen´t bite with the German Language. Otherwise what matters, if it´s working like it should.

It should be compatible with both the older and newer expansions (I've updated the mod to show as much). If anyone finds any bugs, though, please post them here. Thanks!

does need update?
ΧΡHΣΤΟΣ850 7 Dec, 2021 @ 2:45pm
why is my 1944 carrier model from the 1936 carrier?
jasonf  [author] 4 Jul, 2021 @ 11:40am
@samueleach23eg -- No, I'm afraid not. That'd likely require creating a completely new mod.
samuelleach2001 28 Jun, 2021 @ 12:08pm
Is there going to be a version of this mod which will be compatible with The Great war Redux?
jasonf  [author] 26 Jan, 2021 @ 5:35pm
Yes, the AI will use the designs, though it will likely also use its own generic designs, too. Both get factored into its production weights based on the type of ship the design represents.
Nikolajgs 21 Jan, 2021 @ 3:35am
the AI uses the designs as well right? i'm asking since i am a bit tired of winning the navy game due to the AI doing... well very little navy related.

Thanks for the mod.

Hi all -- I've updated the starting file so that it shows up as compatible with 1.10.1.

For future reference, this mod does not change any of the base vanilla files (only adds new files), so it should be compatible with just about any patch or update.
(but it won't ever be ironman compatible since it creates new decisions :\)

Enjoy!

can this mod be updated for use in 1.10/1,11
USAirForce1975 16 Oct, 2020 @ 5:16pm
Is/Can this be made to be ironman compatible?
Ioulaum 7 Mar, 2020 @ 5:45pm
Hi Jasonf,
Really thank you for making this great mod. :)
jasonf  [author] 7 Mar, 2020 @ 2:33pm
Hi all -- I've updated the mod to make the 1936-39 vanilla ship variants a bit more historically accurate. This mostly involved upgrading various modules a bit (usually, AA, torpedoes, and FCS), and reverting a couple of the capital hulls so they could be built on time.

Enjoy!
jasonf  [author] 4 Mar, 2020 @ 7:53pm
FYI -- the mod should be savegame compatible and compatible with the latest patch and DLC, but I updated it to 1.9.* so that the little out-of-date pink triangle on the launcher doesn't confuse anyone.

On the to-do list is an update of the 1936-39 variants from what is scripted in vanilla to something more realistic (i.e., more technologically up to date...)
salamander_svk 17 Feb, 2020 @ 2:44pm
Your mod changes event window for all events, even unrelated to your mod. Not cool.
jasonf  [author] 6 Feb, 2020 @ 8:35pm
@Larshenrik222 -- Yes! It definitely works with vanilla, as well as any other mod that doesn't change the naval techs or ship hulls/modules.
Larshenrik222 5 Feb, 2020 @ 1:32pm
Does this work with Vanilla?
jasonf  [author] 16 Jan, 2020 @ 7:10pm
Thanks @cdworjan! I went with the what was in the 1939 vanilla OOBs for the NC class and a lot of other ship variants that were in the 1939 scenario, but in hindsight, that might have been a little too true to vanilla than is necessary.

I agree with you and will likely revisit and tweak some variants once La'Resistance comes out. Oh, and the RPM version will just aim for historical accuracy regardless of what's in vanilla.
cdworjan 16 Jan, 2020 @ 2:46pm
This really is an excellent modification that improves the historical accuracy of the game and overall improve immersion.

One suggestion I have is to move the North Carolina and South Dakota battleships down to the 1936 hulls. Both were prewar treaty battleships, so they would fit in that era, and as it stands now the US has no new battleship designs until 1940, and then these two classes are lumped in with the Iowas.

Really looking forward to the version of this that works with RPM.
jasonf  [author] 23 Dec, 2019 @ 5:39pm
Yes, you can also do more detailed variants with the base RPM mod (and a version of this is coming for that mod as well), but the point of this mod is to replace some immersion that was lost in vanilla MtG in a way that is compatible with as many other mods as possible.
Justin 23 Dec, 2019 @ 8:14am
looks Promising, but i think you could build better/more realistic Templates with the Naval Rework Mod II :)
Ogima 21 Dec, 2019 @ 10:45am
Gentlemen! Great work as usual! :)
Axe99 30 Nov, 2019 @ 2:22pm
Congratulations and great work Jason :)
jasonf  [author] 30 Nov, 2019 @ 12:42pm
Hello all -- as the mod states, this is a historical immersion mod meant to add new historical ship variants to the game for 1936 on. Please leave any comments, bug reports, etc., and enjoy!
