as of now the MOD development is on hold !!!

That is for one sole reason, the game gets Loot for Fighters with the next Update. For that i decided to put this on hold. This could change in the future...

The mod is buggy.
If a drone squad is set in the settings and then sent off with the LOOT button. Is it deleted instantly and it doesn't even return the resources. 12 Mining Drohn Tech Leverl 43 from Xanion in 1 second ..wuuuusch gone. Tested with cheaper iron drone squad and always the same result. assign group. send the group. Group washed away. delete

Looting as a bunch would be totally fine. It doesnt have to be ultra efficient, it just has to work and thats already huge win.

actually if they looted as a bunch it would still get the job done, just slower so if its an easy fix to treat them as one group it would still be better than getting the loot myself.

I'm sorry for my late answer!
In the last few days I only had a few hours for private projects...
The good thing is: I could find the problem!
The bad thing is: I don't have a solution for it yet...

(it is caused by the changes for the Fightersquadrons....
In the beginning, fighers were individual entities, but in the present they are no longer, so they disappear with the current version of this mod,
I'm trying to find a way around that, otherwise they'll only be able to loot as a whole bunch and that wouldn't be the point of this mod)

i tried this recently and the fighters just disapear when i tell them to collect loot. wondering if theres any fix or planned updates?

wollte schon fragen haste aber selber beantwortet es kann sein weil der commander plugin nicht updatet ist das das problemm drin ist er weigert sich auch das zu machen weil er meint es ist up to date naja haben schon viele gefragt das er es machen soll werde dann erstmal alles weiter hin einseln einsammel geht ja nicht

At the BlackMarket Version it is working with shuttles, again....

ok the problem is a side effect for the cargo fighter review they made not long ago
I switched from cargo to repair fighters and resources are now collected
cargo shuttles are simply not abled to pick up ressources after their refit

nothing to do with the mod :) but good to know

It looks like the little guys does not pickup resources anymore
I looked into the client and server logs and found nothing wrong
Looked in your code saw nothing special but I don't know the Laserzwei's part

Am I the only one betrayed by the little looters? :)

Hi is ther a way to change the salvage targetfinding so each squad get a other target(just the next one in the list) if ther target is allredy set to be salvaged by a other squad? I feel liek ther is a lot of time inefficients by the current way were a lot of fighters target a tiny block and need to reajust every second or so. Of cours it would be slower for bigger crafts but way faster for a lot of small ones I would gues.

Hey we are using your mod on a server and just recently found out that sometimes when the option for looting colors is chosen in the CC menu the server might crash when you're sending out the fighters for looting. So would it be possible to remove that option from the mod because looting colors isn't part of the game anymore anyways?

thats not a Mod spezific problem at all, i've seen the same behavier without any mods active, by accident, but still ;)

Great mod! There is currently a bug though. When launched, it seems like about 1/3 of the time if I am in combat the game bugs out and the enemy ship sizes will shrink, and take little damage, and if hit will rotate on their axis like they weigh nothing. It persists until I go to main menu and back.

I am a little busy at the moment, moving to a new home etc. Thats why updates will have to wait..

to orodoff`s report: i was able to reproduce the behavier but sadly it seems not to easy to fix, so this had to wait too

but, if some one is able to fix this at the meantime, i will gladly integrade it (of course there will be credit to the person :tgrin: )

last but not least, i updates the version to be able to be used with the actual BETA

thanks a lot for this mod, it does work nicely
I am using cargo fighters forseen for station with it
they are not taken in account by LazerZwei's scripts nor by vanilla one
(crew shuttles works but cost 111 boarding crews to a full squad (too high cost on ship payroll))

there is a possible improvement difficult to clearly explaim but I will try

after a fight with scavengers at work, recaling looters is a bit difficult
they start to come back home to dock but if the scavenging process produce a system or turret drop, at least one looter turns back to catch it
it is as if the recall does not stop the previously given loot order untill all looters are at bay
so you have to keep a constant eye on the looter, recall is not a 'fire and forget' command at present

there is a turn around, I turn off loot and recall and issue a vanilla recall on the squad but perhaps you may find a way to free us from this

in any way, thanks again for this mod

I think it didnt update to the 1.1.2 when i tried earlier. There was just an update when i relaunched the game now and it activated the loot drone correctly now. Thanks!

is the mod version you testet 1.1.2? if so.... i have no idea anymore.... i installed a clean copy of avorion, purged all my savegame and configdata (thats why i found the misstake i made earlier) now it is working on two computers of my own with Avorion 0.29.4
