To which this mod is also likely being retired after the game's full release and development solely focused on UBE and it's variant mods

This mod only provides a roster of entity data so that the appropriate U-boat hulls spawn and appear in the world at the appropriate time. What's the addition of assigning the appropriate captain name to each.

This mod does not add any assets and all u-boats regardless of type. Still rely on the type VIIC and the other milk cow asset

Assets will not be available until the devs release the full game, which should include a few more U-boat assets

Hello everyone, ihve a question: Is this availabble vcII boat the only one in this game ? or can i upgrade my boat to XDII or vcIII in lategame ? For an answers i thanks in future. In Silent Hunter 3 you can choose an other U-Boat. Is that in the Game, that i can chose, in late game, an other U-Boat ?

we are working on a fix - which sadly will require me to absolutely gut Expanded Ports. it will be a shell of what it once was.

check my mods if you want to. My point is that it wasn't stated that this mod is not functioning. I did, link said "it has on the title". But others of his mods has it in the title too, but are working.

I don't really know what the fuss is all about.

doesn't work for the new patch. If run in the 1939 campaign, nothing can be bought in the shop (except torpedos) and you can't get a mission by the BDU

This mod should still be compatible with b130. The roster will likely only be updated again after release or a fix to a incompatibly.

pushed update: small fixes to data causing infinite load.

Ensure you clear cache/Datasheets directory to force game to load changes.

However, when I tried to start a new game with only this mod enabled, it did not finish loading.
I deleted settings and also checked the integrity of the game file , but the situation remained the same.

Update Released: Sync of data with UBE in prep for release of B129. This mod will remain on the current verison until a stable build of UBE on B129 can be created.

@all, will be looking into sync'ing Expanded mods with UBE data. This will contain a great number of changes to the current uboat patrols and data. Closer in line with historical data.

@boris the mallcop no this mod does not add new Uboats to the game, the devs or a modder will have to add the additional Uboat prefabs.
However, this mod ensures that any NPC Uboat that spawns in the game only appears during the appropriate time frame. I.E. doesn't spawn at a date when the uboat wasn't in service or was previously sunk (via historical record). The manifest includes the all known german uboats during WWII. So if the devs or another mod add in the a new Uboat, they will only spawn in at the correct time periods. It also includes the many of the uboat captain names, however this parameter hasn't been implemented into the game yet.

May look into adding a Entities list that adds in historical ship names/timeperiods of mechant / allied vessels that were sunk by uboats in WWII.

Update coming soon. Please let me know if you experience any issues. I am also curious to see how the game handles Uboat commanders names being included in the Entities file.
