If you're like me and annoyed with the ? icon for your new awesome dragon breath from this mod, install Malchezzar - Combined Atlases [DE] by the same creator to fix it.

@Sköll Drachen that would be very niche and I wouldn't want to add that as this mod is meant to be useable alongside vanilla, but luminary is also not compatible friendly for most things in the way he coded the light damage type, its actually shadow damage and gets converted weirdly so its not really useable from other mods' perspectives. It was created before custom damage types were a thing in the extender so its a mess of its own stuff.

@Racke that is because of the GM mode stuff tied on, its a base engine issue. There is a mod that fixes it that has been published separately, just load it after this, I'll add it to the description.

Yeah, this mod makes Five-Star Diner not work. It's a great mod, but if you want to use that talent? Don't use this mod.

Had this mod in my load order and it stops food from working when eating. Tried to eat a dinner to equip a piece of armor (needed the strength to equip) but it had no effect on strength.

@JJ Woods Undead already have alot of good things going for them in general so I figured giving it to them as well would be a bit over the top.

@Fediani4 Errors like that happen when your story code (just code in general) fails to compile, so you have conflicting mods or broken mods in your load order that cause that to happen.

Damage on a lot of these needs reeled in some. Dragon Shout does 95% the damage as Battle Stomp for half the AP cost. Sure, the range is shorter(7m vs 10m) but that's still too much damage for it to be considered balanced. Honestly, all of them could have their damage scaled back by at least 25-30% given that you've added extra affects. This racial ability is meant to be something cheap for you to use when you've only got 1AP left, it just sucked that in vanilla you were limited to fire only. This mod adds great variety to lizard builds but it's just too powerful for what it's meant to replace.

@lechkingofdead - Sometimes you have to launch Divinity and wait a couple minutes while in the menu, then open the mod menu. For whatever reason, Larian thought it was a good idea to make the game copy its mods from the Steam Workshop folder to the My Documents folder for the game.

If that still doesn't work for you, you can go to where Steam is then steamapps\workshop\content\435150\1923887113, after that, copy the Adaptive Lizards file and paste it to \Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\Mods

If possible, your breath spells should state in the descriptions that they add Odinblade's effects if the appropriate mods are installed. In a game like Divinity, it helps to know exactly what a spell does at any time, you know? :steamhappy:

@hassingchandler61 that isnt a problem with the mod, that is a problem with your other mods. The extra players happen when you get the story build error when starting a new game.

@Lightsourced get Book of Origins and you can, I just don't allow it by default for lore reasons, but if you have book of origins active, then you can put them on whoever you want.

@Tiporax ah, the odin statuses use the same armor resists etc that his use by default, so armor will prevent them from working in some instances. The reason they don't show up in the tooltips is because they trigger off of "IF(Enemy)", which prevents the tooltips from showing that particular effect. I found this to be a better choice than allowing players to apply those statuses to their teammates in the area.

@Malchezzar so after following those instructions (as well as a full reinstall of DOS2 just to make sure nothing random was happening) I tried again and I think I know what was going on. There is a very good chance that nothing was actually wrong, and I just made an incorrect assumption that the skills were broken based on a couple of circumstances:

1. The new dragon breath skills don't actually say that they apply these new status effects in their descriptions, yet dragon's shade does say it sets insanity, leading me to believe that the others should be mentioning scorched, spored, etc.

2. the dragon breath skills don't apply the odinblade status effects when they're used to start a fight (whether it's because the enemy still has max armour/magic armour or something is actually stopping them working outside of combat, I'm not sure). So when my method of testing "maybe the description is wrong" was to use the skill on a random magister to no effect, I assumed they were broken.

@Tiporax there shouldn't be anything special needing to be done, provided you actually have odin's mods active. I would recommend putting adaptive lizards after odin's mods in the load order just in case. If that still doesn't work, try deleting the mod from your documents, clearing steam download cache, and resubbing.

Was there something that needed to be done/avoided to get the Odinblade effects to work? Currently when I run this mod, Dragon shade provides the insanity for Feenex's mod, but none of the options are giving the Odinblade benefits.

@Fleur having odins mod active will probably overwrite the base fire breath depending on load order, so I think worst case you lose the fire immunity if you have his mod active.

As for the level scaling, Im pretty sure those interactions are semi hardcoded in the game, though these skills scale off of level like the original skill. I believe higher pyro etc. still benefits but I am not sure.
