when you convert the RGB image in photoshop to BTM you need to use a specific color pallet to match the colors that AOE 2 can read, I think you can download it here: https://aok.heavengames.com/blacksmith/showfile.php?fileid=5577&ci=2e9dbae0c48d01617d941971141aa609YToxOntpOjA7YToyOntpOjA7czoxNDoiU2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHMiO2k6MTtzOjM5OiJsaXN0ZXIucGhwP3N0YXJ0PTAmYW1wO3NlYXJjaD1waG90b3Nob3AiO319

I just need to know how you convert your frames after your finished with them to be put into the slp editor. When I convert pictures with the bitmap format conversion tool all the black areas change to a dark navy, your mods don't have this problem so I need to know what your doing that I'm not. How do you put your edited frames into the slp editor?

the process is the folowing:

SLP -> extrect bitmaps (using SLP editor) -> convert to RGB image and perform eddition using Photoshop -> back to bitmaps (using ONLY the propper color pallet) -> back to SLP (remember to leve something from the original unit/ building to aid on the alignment)

some usefull advice:
-start with buildings because its easier to mofify a single frame

-learn the basics for Photoshop, I learned the "bad way" on my own and it took me a long time to discover all the usefull tricks

- units took a lot of time to modify and you need to align every frame to perfection, be patient

Can I ask what your process is for putting units in the game?
How do you convert the frames before putting them in the slp editor?
