Please update B42 as soon as possible.
PuzzyDiztroier 29 Jan @ 11:40pm
B42?
Arachnade 16 Jan, 2024 @ 3:54pm
This mod basically makes the corpses a regular item and disables quickly dropping them at this point of the mod breaking down over updates. It works essentially but slows you down and doesnt seem compatible to any mods that try to speed up or streamline this process. To buder28 IWBUMS means the beta test version of the latest build activated in properties this case means a much earlier version of build 41 and i unfortunately recommend against this mod unless it gets an update.

Can confirm it is working. there is add corpse to add fuel for all campfires and heat sources
Bonzo 1 Aug, 2022 @ 2:13am
i cant remove the mod from my list in the game
Axebeard 20 May, 2022 @ 3:51pm
If you have more than a few corpses just make a campfire and pile the bodies on, duh.
BrasileirinhoPe 2 Apr, 2022 @ 2:35pm
too much click to add corpse. think about that. I use shopping map with a lot zombies and I want burn all. but with this. its very very complicated
And all time i add corpse givme +1 error
BangTheBanger 17 Jan, 2022 @ 1:25pm

BUG???
搬运丢尸体然后点击丢下尸体,会放入背包

As of IWBUMS 41.43 (Probably way eralier but this behaviour is from this version) cremation of corpses in campfires is possible without any mods.

Basically what you need to do:
1) Place a campfire on a clear spot. DO NOT START FIRE YET.
2) Grab a corpse.
3) Walk into the tile with the campfire.
4) Drop the corpse.
5) Repeat actions 2-4 as many times as needed.
6) Start a fire using any kindling. (Most likely a lot of bloodied clothes will be available from bodies you piled)
7) Watche the bodies burn to crisps in about 10 ingame minutes.
Junior melo 31 Aug, 2020 @ 4:56pm
this is not working anymore?
Iommonaut 21 Aug, 2020 @ 12:30pm
Can confirm no longer works, there is no "corpse" option under "add fuel".
Iversman 11 Apr, 2020 @ 12:54pm
Causes a bit of lag on B41. Only had this mod installed and lag went away when I turned the mod off. Shame because it's an awesome mod.
MR. Pickle Chips 30 Mar, 2020 @ 12:01am
does not have "corpse" option under add fuel. build 41.33
JREALMZ 6 Mar, 2020 @ 12:10pm
crashes on IWBUMS 41.31
Hiro78 28 Feb, 2020 @ 6:43pm
is there any way to fix that?
Hiro78 27 Feb, 2020 @ 4:46pm
the "add corpse" option does not appear for me
star 27 Feb, 2020 @ 4:37am
Not yet.
outcognito 26 Feb, 2020 @ 7:45am
@star Ah, i didn't know that your code was part of cremation 41, sorry. All i did was mostly tweaking Better refuiling fires mod, really. I've just thrown cremation as a bonus to keep things conviniet during the development process, but i'm too lazy to strip it away.
star 26 Feb, 2020 @ 12:27am
Actually icon of the mod is not free. But remember that neither copyright nor common sense protects ideas.
star 26 Feb, 2020 @ 12:24am
@Outcognito, you may use my code that I posted below in these comments. As far as I know, there is no need of asking permission if you take only the idea. My code is totally different and free for use for everyone.
Anonymous Prime  [author] 25 Feb, 2020 @ 6:13pm
@Outcognito

I'd suggest checking with the original mod author, Mose. I ported this mod to IWBUMS with permission, so I'd suggest asking in the original mod thread linked in the description here.
outcognito 25 Feb, 2020 @ 6:23am
I managed to glue together this mod with "Better refuelling fires" and "Display Roughly Burn time". Can i have your permission to post my mod?
Khayron 13 Feb, 2020 @ 11:19am
@Poptart with the Hydrocraft Build 41 Beta 1 (you must install it manually) you can use the cremation mod plus hydrocraft and you will be able to craft the campfire as always ;).
PoptartMagic 9 Feb, 2020 @ 8:04pm
Thanks @Khayron! I thought maybe it was a problem with this mod. I'm suprised it's because of hydrocraft.
Anonymous Prime  [author] 9 Feb, 2020 @ 11:28am
Hmm.. weird! Does sound like the problem is isolated to HC. Thanks for the follow up :D
Khayron 9 Feb, 2020 @ 1:21am
The main game I'm playing is with around ten or more mods, the first time i tested it was with a new game with no mods at all (campfire enable) (I tried that to see if my game was corrupted or if it was game version related), then with only Hydrocraft (no campfire, i need a book to read and learn the recipe? i don't know) and finally i tested deactivating HC in my main game (the campfire was there to build another time).
Anonymous Prime  [author] 8 Feb, 2020 @ 6:48pm
@Khayron, just to confirm. When you tested, did you test with only hydrocraft and no other mods, and were still unable to craft the campfire?
Khayron 8 Feb, 2020 @ 5:33pm
Yep, Hydrocraft problem (hydrocraft steam version), tested without it, and i was able to craft the campfire, with hydro im unable, running PZ v41.29 IWBUMS (Steam).
Khayron 8 Feb, 2020 @ 2:08pm
@Poptart, same here, i'm unable to craft the campfire :P, maybe i will begin a game with no mods at all to see if its a mod conflict problem or something like that.
PoptartMagic 5 Feb, 2020 @ 11:20pm
Is anyone else having the problem where you cant craft the campfire kit? No matter if i have all the materials for it, it just doesnt exist in my game! I cant find "Make Campfire Kit" ANYWHERE
Anonymous Prime  [author] 2 Feb, 2020 @ 7:31pm
Weird! I was poking around and couldn't replicate, was wondering why! Happy it is working for you now
Massari62 2 Feb, 2020 @ 7:17pm
Not sure if you tweaked something or not but its working now. Got a nice fire going that will last a couple weeks :)
den 1 Feb, 2020 @ 6:24pm
you can do this in the game without a mod.. just stack the corpses on the fire and use their clothes as fuel to light it. wait a few seconds, and voila, they are now ashes!
Anonymous Prime  [author] 31 Jan, 2020 @ 7:57pm
Hmm ok. I'll look into this tomorrow!
Massari62 31 Jan, 2020 @ 10:24am
Doesn't seem to be working atm. Corpse not showing up as an option for fuel.
Anonymous Prime  [author] 23 Jan, 2020 @ 5:50am
Hey! I have not updated this mod with the new code, as I am not the original mod author. I can check with the original mod author however to see what they would like to do and update as appropriate.

@Malikultum, in your post you mentioned "Help us all the trouble", are you having issues with the mod? If you are seeing any problems, please let me know and I can take a look
Malikultum 23 Jan, 2020 @ 1:45am
You should just update it while changing some stuff in the first place, like changing the icon or lessening the effectiveness of corpses to differentiate it enough. Help us all the trouble. If he didnt respond, maybe the original guy have left. You can't keep waiting forever.
reanimated6 11 Jan, 2020 @ 12:24pm
Hey! Great work, did you update the code like star said?
[ Rizno . 雨 ] 5 Dec, 2019 @ 3:23am
Nice, thanks for the updated version. :happypug:
Anonymous Prime  [author] 12 Nov, 2019 @ 6:07pm
Mose is the original mod author for the cremation mod. His version of the mod is here:
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=498455406

I'd be more than happy to post your update here, but, it isn't technically my mod in the first place, and would make more sense for the updated code to be on the original page, and for me to delete this one.
star 12 Nov, 2019 @ 2:55pm
I meant you may just replace current code with this, because it's more compatible with other mods and future updates of the game. Can't you?
Also I think it will be compatible with 40 and 41 builds at the same time (not tested, just a guess).
Mose may use this code too, I don't need credits or whatever.
Anonymous Prime  [author] 12 Nov, 2019 @ 9:11am
Thanks, though you should provide these comments to the original author :) I just ported his changes to the IWBUMS build so not really my code.

I'll check out your code though, as I'm not terribly familiar with Lua in general, and am just getting into modding. I learn best by example.

I'm slowly picking apart your Bag Crafting mod to see how it works

star 12 Nov, 2019 @ 2:00am
I optimized your code, you may use my version.

If you use neat inject, new builds won't break the mod, even 42, 43, etc
star 12 Nov, 2019 @ 1:23am
You overwrite whole lua file. It's not good.
Anonymous Prime  [author] 7 Nov, 2019 @ 12:20pm
Should work fine on existing saves
starlightann 7 Nov, 2019 @ 9:11am
Do I need to make a new save to implement this or does it already affect any existing saves?
