Pity. This game is a perfect construct to release "steam" and always makes me smile when playing it. Rare to find something like this. As you seem to know a lot on the matter: Are there similar games out there (Pixel Art, level editor, splatter/gore, comical)? I already bought/played Streets of Rogue, Party Hard, Paint the Town Red, Hatred, Guts and Glory and Broforce, but none of them I find as fun to play as Butcher.
pretty sure that its not played anymore
I have severe medical issues, therefore had not always the whole overview of things, as I wanted.
Are you sure, this game isn't played anymore? I find it's game mechanics and the editor outstanding. The newest product of this dev doesn't have a built-in editor, as far as I know. A primary reason because I didn't buy it, because I love game-level design as a hobby, since the first level editors came out in 1984.
I love gory video games, Its just satisfying to see your opponent explode into blood and organs, Which is the entire reason i bought this game, But anyways, I wont really care, I dont play this game anymore nor does everybody else so there is no reason to expand it.
Also how the fuck did it take that long to respond, My profile has gone through 70+ changes, No offense.
Sorry for the delayed answer. I haven't tested your product yet. I can imagine some players enjoy easier game modes in Butcher, however even with the original ones, a level can be completed, especially if it's designed to be not too hard, such as mine. I focussed on entertainment, not on difficulty, and should I ever expand "Hell", the following levels will be just like my first one. I've played a lot of games which came close to be unwinable, because of an extremely high level of difficulty. Not a good idea for players, such as me, who aren't the youngest anymore.
> I didn't design this lvl for ppl with weak nerves.
> It's f*cking brutal.*
