I just figured out there's a bug where the Decor Reimagined mod doesn't register positive decor from Sticker Bombs. Since the positive decor is the entire point of Sticker Bombs, I recommend fixing this bug.

I also noticed the mod prevents drywall from providing positive decor, but I'm actually okay with that (though it should be described in mod page, or maybe made an option for hard mode). I also play with the "drywall hides wires" mod, so I find value in drywall without it providing positive decor. But the sticker bombs should definitely be fixed.

imo a grace period for the negative decor morale would be good! either a certain amount of cycles or expectations! atm the mod makes stress kind of an issue when youre still worrying about securing your colony's safety rather than decor

If you're using this with the Fast Track mod, make sure to disable "Fast Reachability Checks". It prevents tiles from contributing to decor with this mod installed.

After some tests, the parameters "DebrisDecor" and "DebrisRadius" in the config.json file don't work for me. The idea is amazing because, with high enough decors radius malus and size of debris, we'll be forced to clean the base, adding complexity to debris management. If you have the time to check it, it would be amazing!

Decor from Snazzy Suit and Primo Garb seem to stick to dupe even after they take them off.

This mod will change the requirements for the Great Hall (improved dining room +6), adds Rocket interior to the requirements. Because of this, it is not possible to get the best dining room.

I'm still using this mod. It works fine aside the fact that drywalls don't hide wires but I use the Backwalls mod, they have a +10 decor bonus so they're still useful at mitigating the decor malus of wires while not completely negating it. If you don't set this mod to hard mode it's still usable.

Good mod as idea – but the fact that it prevents all backwalls from hiding background elements makes it rather harmful. It makes absolutely no sense that wires/pipes/etc under wallpapers still contribute to decor. Option "Preserve Tile Decor" doesn't help with this.
Won't use it until it's changed.

I'm not usually the asking kind of guy, but any chance of making this mod work with Block Decor Effects Behind Walls? By itself their mod does hide Heavy Watt Wire decor behind drywalls, but with this mod it doesn't. With hard settings I get -800 decor for a Heavy Wire passing through somewhere

Suggestion: Unfinished paintings and sculptures + pots without plants should give 0 decor.

Similar to disabled water coolers not counting, I don't think unlit pixel packs should give any decor.

@stephen i guess you are aware that skyrunner is away from ONI modding for a while ? would you be able to update diseases restored skyrunner himself said anyone else will have to update it since hes away from modding for now.

Since you worked on this one with him i tough i could ask, we never know :)
(i feel that diseases restored dlc version could be simple as removing the water scrubber and adding the mod_info.yaml but i might be wrong as i dont know how to code

Hey, does this make any changes for the monument? I always felt building it was a bit lackluster. I feel like having a buff that increases morale significantly after passing it would be nice. Would give reason to incorporate it into bases

Love love love this mod. My bases look so lively mixing and matching my decor.

It would be a real help if we could get a few decor items added to the mod. Knowing there's no bonus decor for it, i'm disinclined to fill my ceiling with molding, etc. It would be nice if we could have a few items to help round out the decor and fill in a few gaps. They don't need to be worth much decor, just something to add a touch more variety.

Maybe a plastic version of each crop?

A few single tile items placeable on the wall would be a ton of help.

A hanging plant that only occupies one space (like an empty planter does)?

A few urns that use ceramic and are one and two high?

I don't know how to mod, but i'm a capable artist, if you're interested I could whip up some stuff.

what about wallpaper? with this mod not needcoverall wall, but this looking so strange.this is very bad. maybe reduce wallpaper decor, but count all this tiles?

Sick mod. Makes my base look so much better too with a balanced distribution of items. Also makes it possible to have decent decor inside industrial areas so building a few power generators next to each other won't nuke a room's decor.

The game takes in decor info from EVERYTHING in the room.

Making it take less decor reduces traffic.

I wanted to add diminishing returns for decor as well, but the performance decrease of such a change was very significant on large bases.

i agree with tellik.
cool mod, but the decor effect should be a falloff,not just only decor counted for first one
like this:
first statue gives 30 decor
second gives 15 decor
third give 7.5 decor
forth give 3.25 decor
etc
that way, you still CAN spam paintings, but it will never give more than double doing one of the same statue.

I really enjoy this mod! However I feel like there is no need to decorate bedrooms, perhaps make all Colonists prefer living in a personal bedroom, then it would make living spaces a problem in a different sense. Non the less I enjoy this mod a lot! Hope you continue to develop it.

I love this idea. It's always triggered me how it's more efficient to spam statues everywhere to have max positive decor everywhere.

- Is it possible for multiple of decor items to give a bonus(penalty) of diminishing returns instead of only the first one? (I really like symmetrical bases, so I normally have a matched decor item on the other side of the room.)

- If a dupe last sees positive decor before going to sleep, would they be able to get a bonus to sleeping? Increased stamina gain or a well rested bonus for a few time blocks when they wake up? Vice versa for negative decor, to the point where they might get nightmares and wake up?

- Could there be a way to counteract the negative decor from an atmosuit? Even something as simple as the material used changing the decor value of it.

removing stackable tile decor seems bad, then there is no point in have more than 1 tile of carpet or metal for the decor bonus. also if you remove sleep decor then whats the point of decorating bedrooms?
