@Walsingham Not that hard, just need a decent program like Gimp/Photoshop. You also need the Nvidia .dds plugin to save them so Skyrim will recognise them. If armors have a tint/reflection (specular), you can only change that by changing the mesh in nifskope. It's all trial and error, but worth it.

Really cool idea, btw. How hard is it to mod the colours on armour? I was thinking of upgrding the legion armour, but I think it needs to lok slightly different. Just change some of the rivets to bronze, etc.

Blue mountain flowers are everywhere!

Blue mountain flower? (been a while)

Under the huge bridge in Solitude, starting near by the East Empire Company Warehouse.

Between Riften and Helgen, these are found easily without leaving the road.

Commonly found in the Northern areas of Skyrim.

On Goldenglow Estate (a island northwest of Riften), there is a field with bountiful amounts of all the Mountain Flowers (except for the yellow variety, which are only available in Dawnguard zones).

where do i get those flowers ?
i dont find them at alchemists shops

I think I got this working. It comes at a price though. Gauntlets & Boots don't show the proper tint/shine. V2/3 Armor/Helmet and Shield seem to be ok. You can thank the lousy workshop for it. No problems with the Nexus versions as far as I'm aware.

@Andrew You appear invisible because the .nifs are edited to give a blue tint. Unfortunately they dont' seem to pack with the textures. You need to download it from the Nexus site. link above. Sorry about that.

how do I get rid of the invisibilty issue? Noticed it mentioned but didn't see an answer. If I am invisible in battle that is great though. Prefer the dark blue.

can you do a glass recolor project like new malacite colors so it would say mlacite(blue) or malacite(red) and you use that to make the other color armors plus new colored glass weapons would be cool

in my opinion the v3 looks nice but to dull
v2 is the better of the two in my books.
if i were you i would keep both. so we have the choice of the two armour sets

V3 is almost ready. I've uploaded some pics to show the difference. Hopefully it looks more glass with the blue. It's quite drastic so I wonder if I should leave v2 and fix the green tint or go ahead with v3?

Thanks for the fix, going to play now to see what this glow tint looks like.

Updated or rather gone backwards. Armor should appear now, but it will have the green shine/tint. I don't blame you if you think it sucks, I think it does too. Still, gives me practice.

Sorry about this. I'll try and see what's going on. Atm I'm subscribed to this, so I have the same files -just incase I messed up somewhere.

i only have one problem when i equip the armor it turn my body invisible any help the arms legs ang helmet work fine
