@Cryostasis I'm going to come out with something today that unlocks the slots but there is no way to increase them until the assembly kit comes out unfortunately.

@VenomlessCZ Not sure if you're still working on it but I'd guess something is going on with the chain slot unlocks table and with settlements that do not use the standard major chain (like altdorf). Would need more info to check it.

@powerhungry4 hey! could you help me a bit? i tried doing a simillar mod and i used your guide, but without the gates, not as much slots and progressive unlocks (all slots are not unlocked at tier 1) however, some people keep reporting that they are losing slots when upgrading to tier 4 and 5 on some provincial capitals. any idea what might be the cause of this? thanks for potential info, or atleast, if you could redirect me to someone who could help me. thanks!

This mod doesn't work on the Chaos Fortress (ie chaos settlement in SFO). Does anyone know a slot that work on the dark fortress?

Good Mod...but when I try start new campaign...this mod erase Slaughterhorn tribe from Eye of the Vortex campaign and from mortal empires...well beastmen don't need it but still....also no new Skink Lord for lizardmen....aka almost like this erases whole new DLC..... just letting you know

I can't do much for provinces that have more than 3 settlements, Played the Huntsman campaign and the 4 settlement provice completely blocks out the ability to upgrade the main 18 slot settlement, aaaaand changing resolution doesn't work. Maybe try a 16 or 12?

the 18 slots causes a problem in etaine (and presumably any other province) where there are 3 sub settlements - the furthest 2 slots to the left of the capital's panel (including the settlement upgrade slot) are obscured - suggest you make it 16 slots. Otherwise great. cheers

@Ihavemanybullets Its not just a matter of time, you would need mixus blessing to get the alterations he adds into startpos. As far as I know, there is know way to get those alterations just from what he releases to everyone else.

@Ihavemanybullets That sounds like an issue with start_pos_regions more so than campaign_building_chain_slot_unlocks. Essentially, the changes make start_pos_regions say "This region has 18 slots" while campaign_building_chain_slot_unlocks says "At this level of this building, grant 18 more slots (up to the region max of 18, achieved at level 1)." So the instant 8 is proof the slots table is working but the lack of more than 8 slots means the start pos regions file is not.

However, whereas changes to the slots table can be done in the rpfm or assembly kit, start pos file changes often require the assembly kit. That would be the biggest issue with combining with mixus unlocker. Both of our changes to start pos would need to be compiled together. Thats why, as much as I would like to make it compatible with mixus, only a merger mod with both sets of info could implement the changes successfully.

@powerhungry4 I don't know if you're busy with other things or not, but if you aren't, maybe you could make a guide on how to make this compatible with Mixu's unlocker? I tried copying the "db/campaign_building_chain_slot_unlocks_tables/" from your mod over into the db for Mixu's Unlocker and all it did was give me 8 building slots to use right away, which is nice, but not quite what I was hoping for, as you could probably guess. :^)

Finally got around to updating this mod! I also posted a guide and the excel sheet I use if anyone wants to tweak with their own version of it (also for myself next time it needs an update). Let me know if any issues come up with the new update.

Playing as the Empire the main building for altdorf is covered up with the left Ui elements, and when i go to browsing the building chains hover over the main building it crashes to desktop.

Hi Power Hungry. First off thank you for making this much-needed mod. I always needed a mod like this because I like having all my buildings made in one city, it keeps things easy for keeping track of my provinces haha. I also wanted to ask if this mod needs to be updated for the latest DLC or is it fine the way it is?

I think this mods removes starting units in eye of the vortex campaign i don't know how or why?Mortal empires seems fine(For my mod collection first i had was SFO,some unit mods which don't change starting units and some visual mods then i disabled them all and when on and enabled only few of them at a time to see which one was an odd one out a this one seems to be the one)So my question is this mod compatible with of the vortex or is it a problem at my end?
PS REAAALY LOVE THIS MOD CAUSE SFO has a lot of building and not enough spaces for all of them and this mod fixes it very much

Hello. I captured Albion as High Elves in Eye of Vortex campaign, but it doesn't give me all slots for main settlement
(it seems to give only 8). I didn't rebuild still it to level 5, though. Can there be a problem?

@rafaeladbessa Two ideas. One, it could be another mod having a bad interaction with mine so try it without other mods and see if it does the same thing. Other idea: 4 cities takes up the most space for the ui. Are there any issues graphically going on when you select the province? If so, try scaling down the UI and see if the same thing happens.

@DutchmanX Both are startpos mods, its a very common problem. Really isn't any way to fix it without creating a combined mod as whenever theres a competition between two of the same tables, first one in order wins.

@wesleyjackson81484 Depends. Converting a small town into a big city and vice versa is possible so long as each province still has exactly one major city (and you can move regions/cities between provinces). You can also make new provinces so theoretically you can make every settlement/gate/forest/whatever a major city if you wanted to. But all of this must be done through modding so there is no way to do it in game. And, so far as I know, there is currently no way to add a city out of thin air to the game, even while modding.
