You can use super sonic until you get the max rings and then you use down B or side b but its only a move not a full transformation

Love it so far, the only thing i find inconvinient is the hitbox of up air, i fell like it should follow the animation more like it should also hit forward. Love ur work keep it up

Thanks for all the feedbacks again!! We decided it was time to update Sonic a 2nd time with brand new features :

1- You can cancel Up-B into Pratfall by pressing Down
2- Kirby Compatibility (Kirby copies the 25 ring FSpecial and can use it infinitely (No rings needed for Kirby :P))
3- Nerfed a lot the hitbox of Up-Special making it not touch grounded opponent and moving the area toward tails' tails :)
4- Bigger Startup on UStrong and Fstrong
5- Extremely reduced the lifetime of some moves' hitboxes.
6- Made the 25 rings Forward B Easier to hit

Future Updates may contain :
-Shadow Costume
-100rings Neutral Special
-100rings Up Special (possibly)
-A way to LOSE rings
-Rings build up faster
-Some moveset change

The ring gimmick could be better. It'd be fine to replace Down B for spin dash also maybe Sonic should be able to generate rings by running. Parries=5 Rings, Neutral B=10 Rings and Taking a Stock=20 rings. I feel like Sonic should be moving and responding to situations like in the games by moving fast and reacting to obstacles. Neutral B's throw should be faster. Have Sonic keep some momentum after collecting the ring as a "Recovery" option. Knuckles should dig up on Sonic's tile infront of him. You could give sonic invincibility while Sonic is dodging knuckles and having the invincibility go away when Knuckles goes to leave. The boost could be better since it takes over time to be usable so make the move faster, longer or stronger. I appreciate your moveset by having his rings power up a boost, relying on friends and having a cool style.

P.S. Can you try making alts for Tails, Knuckles, Cream and Classic.

And also his up air hit box is lacking in width, so make it a bit wider so it can cover the front of him too

Hitbox on his side-B seems a bit wonky. For something that uses a resource, it should be easier to hit with.

Thank you for all the feedback! We have updated Sonic taking the feedback we have gotten, and will be updating soon!

Changes so far:
-Up Special can be controlled
-You get a ring or two when you hit a jab/dash attack/tilt/strong attack.
-Down Special now gives 20 rings per use.
-To make Down Special better, using it when you have 100 rings turns Sonic into Super Sonic to do a Super Sonic Burst

Also fixed the bug where using N-Special can bring you past 100 rings.

having a mechanic where you just stand there and charge up a move feels kinda weird for a 'fast' character like sonic. however, his normals are really well done and fun!

Down special needs to be fixed. If you run and down b you'll slide really far and usually will be an insta-sd if you slide of the stage down b-ing. The aerial variation, imo, needs a lot less start up.

Sonic's should have an aerial variant of side special where he air-dashes when boost isn't available to him rather than having him trip in the air and sd.

Overall, I find him pretty fun to use.

@bearwulf I think up spec was inspired by the flying mode in sonic heroes, my main gripe is that it being uncontrollable leads to a lot of SDs. Speed is fine but we should be allowed to act out of it, and change direction

i rlly like the charecters but i do have some minor gripes
UpB feels rlly slow.... with sonic this slow recovery is rlly out of sync with the rest of the gameplay.... the spring would have been better... but ok..

This is pretty good, but I found that if you use Neutral Special after having 100 rings the counter will continue past 100 rings, and that doesn't seem to be intended.

This is the best Sonic so far, but I think the ring mechanic could use work. Instead of getting rings through down special, why not make it work more like Shovel Knight's gems, where attacking opponents make them drop rings, and you can collect them? That way, you could make the down special something else, like the spindash.

i do have to say that the method of earning the rings made side-b completely useless

i do have a recommendation though make it so that every % (on your opponent) counts for 2 rings and that % you take is minus 1 ring making it so you are able to have a more fun down special
