they are just a decoration it does not do anything but dissipear when you get near it. and i can confirm that as i made the map
It does NOT include any jumpscares or events after that.
typing mat_fullbright 1 into console you can see its just a very low poly-brush-based dog thing with env_sprite's for eyes set to disable when you walk near the map border.

i saw red eyes, IT IS CREEPY remove it please.

Turning off HDR changed it back to normal...

Make sure you have HDR on in the settings

Was there an update that made the map darker?

there just there, they don't have any jumpscares or anything they just go away when you get near them. thats it, nothing to worry about its just a little thing i put in the map
