I do the same thing, but opposite. I put alloy as reinforcement for the metal in front of it- but only when I'm making land vehicles or fortifications.

It's actually double hulled, behind every piece of external alloy is metal.

To be honest they give me anxiety too, but just because of the bright coloration with the white, it makes me feel annerved, though it is quickly cured with the paint tool.

Alloy hulls give me severe anxiety.

fully traversable interior AND a toilet? You godsend

I'm still discovering the new features, I actually redid the ship a few times while building. I wanted to make it look like an ancestor of my previous ships from a somewhat post WW1 era, but still the last of its kind. I have seen the new railings on other ships and I may use them on 'older' designs in the future. I've tried the new steam engines but I think you need to use the key based building mode and I suck at that.

Have you tried using the new railings?

The builds are extremely awesome I never put down anyone it give put ups so they can be encouraged to do more for example if I could create a gun I would but I suck at it XD
but I keep trying but out of all that you are a great designer

I just absaloutly love the top perspective on the second screenshot, I did not notice the last few times I've visited the page, but now I have and wanted to mention it. Not only are you good at creating naval ships, but you are great at virtual photography.

I had the firing piece backwards like a twat and when I fixed it the gauge turned into the Bismarck and my game froze, hah! Thanks for your response, I hope you have many builds of good shape and joyful days.

Thanks! I'm not sure how to help with the cannons, I've always built them the same way. Try saving one of mine as a subobject and taking it apart. I imagine what's happening is the direction of your T's is incorrect and not connecting to the firing piece.

May I ask how you increased the diameter of your cannon's barrels? After the update I can't seem to adjust their size no matter how many gauge increasers I put on (with the exception of the new cannon mounts because they won't work).

Other than that question, this ship looks really nice, the complexions match the ships deck and is soft on the eyes at sea.
