What happens if I use this with a mod that changes the Conjuration tree? Aka, if I used this mod with Ordinator would everything work correctly or would something get screwed up

Bound Bow seems to have disappeared with this mod installed. Nobody's selling it, and I can't find it in Fort Amol.

This was a very good add-on for the mace-mage build I went for on one of my recent characters. With proper skills and training in 1-hand, Conjuration, Heavy Armor, Destruction, Blocking, and of course Smithing and Enchanting, this mod produced a very well-balanced and fun to play character. He did plenty of damage, and was very satisfying to play as, with lots of options for both close quarters combat and long-ranged exchanges. I went with a fire-mage build in destruction, which helped the subsequent pounding from either the 1-hand summoned mace and a heavy shield or dual-wield summoned maces, or mace in one hand, fire spell in the other. As I said, loooots of options. This mod was integral to that build, and it was both fun and effective.

I assume that since this mod has bound weapons stack conjuration, and one-handed or two-handed together, then it does the same for archery?

This is by far one of my favorite addons ever. My one (VERY minor) complaint is that a couple of the weapons aren't following the toggle cast option. Bound war axe, bound dagger, bound battleaxe, all seem to be dismissing after 2 minutes (with the proper perk) instead of staying toggled.

Could you at some point add in a way to enchant your bound weapon with fire/paralysis/or other enchs and is this compatible invested magic?

@amishrambo There was a bound bow already in the vanilla game. o_O Can find the spell tome for free in Fort Amol (it's sitting in a bucket in the northwest corner of the prison, covered by a lantern), or you could have purchased it from court wizards or from Phinis Gestor at the college, if your conjuration level was high enough.

Don't the bound weapons already scale to your conjuration level? It says that in one of the loading screens lol.

Will this mod conflict with Midas Magic? I noticed that both mods have bound pickaxe and bound dagger spells.

I agree with your point of keeping the Daedric models for your bound weapons. After all, Bound weapons are actually Lesser Daedra that take the form of weapons when summoned.

Just wanted to say Great work with the mod i can finally do a conjured assassin build i been wanting to try for ages, one little minor miniscular detail i dont know if you are aware or even care (im only drawing attention to it because it twigs my ocd like hell) and that is on some of the weapons when summoning the blade, it is actually facing towards you (dagger and greathammer) so when the hand comes to grab it the blade is actually the wrong way round and somehow magically flips round soon as the hand comes back into view after grabbing it.

Just thought i would mention it but as i said it is the most minor thing ever, hardly seems worth it now considering what a great mod it is so kudos regardless =) keep up the good work =)

Hello, found a bug, after testing some in game, it seems that the bound war axe does not benefit from magicka scaling, tested it with differnet weapons, where as my sword and mace has a even dmg and scales, the war axe is locked at its damage. Tested at 0% 25% 50% and 100% the bound war axe does not change it damage.

@ Aertyr, BOSS inevitably lead me to TESV Edit to clean files. Good grief! There were a lot of bugged quests and other issues I had prior to attempting to resolve this that are no longer issues. Still unable to get the bound weapons and no item calls appear in console. Only thing that is working are the perks, so big bonus there and IMHO still worth keeping since I primarily use bound sword and bows anyway. I just wanted the bound pick and wood axe.

Its definitely one of the other mods I have installed. When I unselect all but yours, the items appear. I haven't narrowed it down to which one just yet.

Life always gets in the way of my pleasure at troubleshooting. Just another puzzle for me to enjoy solving and I will solve it. When I figure out which one is the culprit, since I have two computers to test with and the problem persists on both, I'll give you a heads up.

Keep up the excellent work and thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

@ Aertyr, thanks for directing me to BOSS. Turns out I had a lot of issues that I just "got used to" and this has fixed them. (obsolete mods, dead mods, corrupted files, etc)
You saved me a lot of hair pulling! Thanks! Still fixing a few probs but now that I have the right tools, should be a lot easier. Thanks again! (haven't tried a new character yet as I'm working out the other problems/deleting obsolete and replacing files). Other than using steams file verifier, I don't know how to fix the other problems BOSS is reporting but I'll figure that out later.

I was thinking of unsubbing and resubbing as well. It was working before so I know the problem is on my end. Just got to figure out where. Thanks again for the great help!

@drakefyr, It might also work if you unsub, save, and then re-sub. Sometimes the vendors act a little funny. This is mostly due to my inexperience modding when I initially created this mod. I believe all of the tomes however are in the room next to Farengar in the event this is a bug.

done. ran boss and it changed the load order. I'm still getting the perks, just not the bound items. in console player.placeatme c2cd9 shows all the spell tomes possible in game. only the vanilla bound items appear. Farengar's offerings remain unchanged. Even tried the save, kill mage, reload, trick. no change.

I'm going to start a new character, since the character I've been playing with was only a level 5 anyway its seriously no big loss. I'm thinking it might be the player file that got corrupted.
I like this mod too much to unsub. Either way, if all I get are vanilla bound weapons, the updated perks you've added are alone enough to keep the mod.

Thanks for your help. I'll post again only if the new character is capable of getting the new spells. Awesome Mod either way.

@drakefyr, I have no idea what your load order is, but one of the mods is overwriting mine. I use this mod with all official DLC and no problems. I recommend using BOSS for figuring out the proper load order.

I'm still getting the perk additions, just not the bound items.
I double checked using the console to see if they were even available and found they were no longer there. Still keeping the mod because the perks are awesome.
Let me know if you are updating for Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn (which I will be getting this weekend)
I figure "Bound Dagger" will be a problem since it is now included with the Dragonborn DLC.
Still an awesome mod. Just missing my bound pickaxe and woodaxe.

Hey, I'd really appreciate if u could include the duration of bound weapons in any way. For example by scaling it with the conjuration level same as u did in terms of damage but maybe with a higher rate to reach a cap of 5/10mins or whatever u would feel good with. This could be done with a compatible mod as well if u dont want to make it binding..

I assume I just found the most powerful sword spell tome in the game if I download this mod. It will NEVER rival a Giant's Club though, thats for sure, but its a good mod nonetheless!
