@zaphod yes those buttons are for if you have an anchor system to another boat like shown in the example vid

@Aviationist 101 as per the instructions, the sub is so small that water pressure will prevent the ballast from emptying past -50 m.

I didn't understand the "bay door" and "track in/out". Or extend/retract tether. I assume disconnect anchor connectors is to self-release when held by another boat by the external connectors.

But what are those other things?

Thanks , a few months ago I had just bought Stormworks and this was my first vehicle I used

Its good, only issue was the Submarine kept going underwater even if I had it going up, and it just randomly broke so i had to swim back to spawn lol.

@mtmanning64 I've been away from SW for nearly half a year, so I haven't had much chance to work on the ship. Still a WIP for the far future I'm afraid.

@King_Geedorah87 I tested it and I'm not sure why it's messed up now, but I seemed to be able to work around it by not filling the ballast entirely (leave it around 30-40% filled). This may have been how you're originally supposed to use it but it's been awhile and I will need to go back and check.

If by “doesnt surface” you mean that the ballast doesn’t drain, then I’m sorry but there’s nothing I can do about that - it’s a tiny sub meant for shallow exploration and due to water pressure the pumps won’t work past -50 meters. As I mentioned, an alternative is to tether it to a larger ship so you can winch it up

@evanmoliver click the subscribe button. Then, in the vehicle editor (in game), go to the "Workshop" tab at the top when loading a vehicle, and find the creation you want to spawn

@colin thanks man. As for building advice, you can always ask on the official discord for opinions/constructive criticism. I also look at real life reference images to help me get started. Also, I sometimes look at other people’s work for some inspiration or just to see how they did something that I liked, then incorporate it into my own creation with some creative twist.
