@Mortiminix Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Sorry for any future subscribers, but it appears as if this isn't working and I'm unsure as to why. I'll keep looking into it, but just know that is broken for now.

Well, nothing happens. The game does tell me that the mod is installed and activated, but when I launch a new game (with the Vaulters ; I've only tried with them) the law is still the same +20 approval bonus. It used to work with the Vaulters, I know that for a fact.
I've tried to launch the game in English, in case of language files mismatch, with no success.
My game is up to date, which means : ver. 1.5.11 S5 GOLD public.

Is the mod outdated, or is there something else to do so that it works ? I can't get it to work.
Still, thank you for creating this mod. I think it's a must-have since the 'balance' update that killed this law.

You are very welcome, good luck

Thank you very much for your explainations, you made that very clear. I really appreciate it :)

(File I was mentioning was C://Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/Endless Space 2/Public/SimulationSimulationDescriptors[LawEffects].xml

All mod files for Endless Space 2 are located under this by default:
C://Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/392110
(The number is the steam id number, you can find that in the page url for ES2)
All the folders here are mods you have downloaded, you can also find their id in the url of their page. If you want to find this mod, look for 1854028459.

You have the source code for every single mod you've downloaded ;)

In case you are wondering though, I looked under the relevant simulation descriptors until I found the right thing, then reverted to before the patch and copied and pasted what changed.

I nerver used a mod from the steam workshop and the way I understood it is that I don't download your mod directly to put in my files. I subscribe to it and can activate it in-game? Also I don't know how to get the lines from before the patch now that it is installed. But indeed if I know where to find your mod files I could just copy and paste them to edit them the way I feel. I just don't quite understand how the workshop works.

Might I ask the original lines for what? If it's for this law, I've literally just copied and pasted them from before the balance changes, so you can use them if you'd like. There's only one simulation file in this mod, so it'll be easy to figure out what is what.

Hi, maybe someone will be able to answer my question: I would want to retreive the original lines in the xml files that cover the saints and sinners law, because I would like to tweak it. I know they are in the simulation file but since I updated the game I only have access to the new effect. Is it too complicated? Does it need to much steps to explains? My idea about this law is that if the developpers think it was too powerful, maybe the solution would have been to apply a malus to science and dust production to compensate the possibility to go way over the overcolonization limit. Thank you.
