Can confirm it doesn't work for Elder Kings. Hard to find a trait mod out there for it.

I have used this mod quite often. There was once a time where I refused to use mods like this at all, and played "for the challenge", but those days are long gone. I just want to be able to have fun and enjoy the few hours I can find to play games like EU and CK, and this mod has helped me in that regard beyond any other.

My only note of sadness here is that today, the last day I plan to play CK2 before purchasing CK3, I cannot for the life of me get this mod to work. I have no other mods, only the vanilla game plus all (yes, ALL) the DLC. Its likely not the mods fault...probably just something buggy with steam or something.

In any case, just wanted to say thank you. Your work here was not wasted friend, it brought much enjoyment and fun into my life.

Pretty solid update there then. Might be an idea to update the main image to show the new traits.

Alternatively it might be an idea to release the new ones in separate forms each and leave this as the classic option- some people don't trust themselves with certain levels of cheats after all, so having the 500 option might be too much, etc.

Just my thoughts, feel free to ignore as it is obviously your mod. It's a pretty solid one though so I'd be surprised if the smaller ones weren't also popular. In any case, thanks for the update, more options is always nice.

@KhromeHound Ask and it is given. Added other flavor text as well:
Dynast King, Dynast Queen - 500
Dynast Prince, Dynast Princess - 250
Dynast Lord, Dynast Lady - 100

The mod still works for me my dude. Presumably you had another trait mod conflicting somehow.

Anyway, @Jevo if you're around any time soon, would you mind either making, or me making one or two scaled down versions of this trait?
I.e Dynast-Prince at 250
and probably another at say 125 or 75.

This does not work. Well at least not anymore.

Thanks for this mod! This is a fabulous way to let players create their own ideal rulers/OCs! Such an easy, light weight way to do this. I appreciate it!

no, this is not ironman compatible
wankerQAQ 8 Dec, 2019 @ 2:50pm

FINALLY I FOUND THIS MOD!!!
Idk if this mod is old or new, but i was searching for a mod like this since i bought the dlc ruler designer... YES!!!
Jevo  [author] 12 Sep, 2019 @ 2:41pm
That makes sense, I'll look into that. Ty!
Hehodas 12 Sep, 2019 @ 9:47am
You need to add a compatibility setting with the Game of Throne mod in your .mod, has GoT hard-replace nearly everything in the game

I don't think load order matters ... this mod adds an additional trait to trait selection in Ruler Designer. Does Ruler Designer not show the 'Dynast-King' trait?
Amestris 10 Sep, 2019 @ 6:54am
Is there any reason this mod would not work with the Steam version of the Game of Thrones mod? I'm betting it has something to do with my load order, but I just wanted to check and make sure.
Jevo  [author] 9 Sep, 2019 @ 5:39am
Umm...I cannot. I don't think its possible to re-open Ruler Designer in-game. Its possible to implement most features in Ruler Designers, maybe as a series of events, in-game....That is a feat I am not prepared to do.

Can you make a mod that allows you to go into ruler designer twice after you've started the game?
Jevo  [author] 8 Sep, 2019 @ 1:48pm
What @beviar94 said. This mod is just a simple trait. It gives you extra points. Ruler Designer Unlocked alters actual game files so that traits cost nothing but it also includes other features. In other words, players have options on how they want to hack Ruler Designer.
beviar94 8 Sep, 2019 @ 10:19am
Regular trait designer mess with traits so mods like improved genetic will not work correctly plus it will work of other traits mod .

Whats the difference between this mod and Ruler Designer Unlocked!
Jevo  [author] 7 Sep, 2019 @ 9:04am
So when adding children, each child will automatically add a year to the ruler. But you can still use the trait. Even if you add children. This mod/trait is meant to give you additional points, not keep you at the age of 16 necessarily but most likely will. If you use enough points, eventually your age will start to increase.
Jevo  [author] 7 Sep, 2019 @ 8:58am
Thanks, I'll update the description on that.
Muramune 7 Sep, 2019 @ 7:13am
I cant see a difference from the regular ruler desgner
Muramune 7 Sep, 2019 @ 7:07am
hahahaha Gabe :D
Valsalan 6 Sep, 2019 @ 7:19pm
It is wroth noting that, with this trait, it will be impossible to start with children. As you need to be at least 17+ (I believe) to have one child, with each additional child requireing one or more years.
Jevo  [author] 5 Sep, 2019 @ 9:01am
Working on it.

The lack of handheld magic nuke rocks make me sad.
