@DreadAllNines Well I am glad you enjoy it; and I am especially glad to hear someone enjoying the fact it has no shell :) (also makes practical designs look nicer as well)

Another great @Ruby Rose build. Everything you need, nothing you don't, particularly an encrustment of displays and greebling that make it impossible to repair internal components.

Wanted to share my AutoLCD setup for the cockpit, which shows the usual stuff like cargo and stop time, but also (if you go and meticulously name the grids after you build them) which attachment you have plugged in:

@Gonzi Due to bulkyness and higher amount of scenarios, there is not sadly.. I have been trying to make one, however it becomes pointless to build with how big the rig's get. Sorry :<

@MythN7, you are probably playing in 4K or some resolution the screencapture is too big to upload to Steam. Try to enter in the folder and use some kind of website like the tinypng to reduce it's size. I believe you'll be able to upload it after that ;)

So I've come across an issue... If I connect the main ship to my base, batteries are recharged on it. HOWEVER. Anything attached to the main ship through the second connector does NOT charge. So right now, I have a mining attachment with dead batteries :/ Any help?

it would be great when one Modul could enter and leave the orbit. Might be "the" perfect single Ship within a faction. Maybe there will be a "multicrew" version of this concept one day

@MythN7 Any future rig's are gonna be seperate since, quite honestly, I REALLY do not want to remake the thumbnail :P . Also would mean I would have to redo every single thing on this upload. You can try going into the game options and disabling the steam cloud nonsense, and then try blueprinting the trailer rig by itself. Sounds like you are only getting cloud versions rather then hard copies

Well it says local only, and the only BP's in my local folder are the ones I created from copying the drones in the first jump mission.

The Rename button is even greyed out, all I can do is delete, copy to clipboard and take screenshot, and replace, not sure what is.

How do I make the BP of it register so the publish button is not greyed out?

ALL the BP's I make Ctrl+B of are not publishable for some reason.

Ok, I finished the Module Trailer, took me all day.

NONE! of the origial Rig-Bee is edited what so ever.

I made sure that all the thrusters on the core attachments would not burn each other or the rig.

In the video, I forgot to put a button for the cockpit part, but have added one since lol.

Can also be used as a heavy tug logistic module

@MythN7 Projectors sometimes don't do there job when there are multiples that are constantly attaching and detaching unfortunately. Not sure when I could make a trailer though... Takes me a week to get anything even basic to be decent xD

In the mean time, you could always either add landing gears to them so you can mount them onto your ship, or recreate the strut but with merge blocks. Long distance moving was not in my mind when I made this unfortunately :sefacepalm:

something else, I think would be handy is to have a projector on each one from the get go without us having to add it, with each modules sub bp in it for repair projections.

well i need to move my bee like 50km so would you be up for using a trailer attachment if it works well and fits your deisn as part of the actual mod?

@MythN7 I was considering that originally, but I figured it would be a bit hard to have a compact way of storing these rigs. Unfortunately I forgot to add landing gears to them, but when it comes to survival, it is bound to be modified eventually. :)

Hopefully one day I can get a design to full fill that

Love this blueprint, only thing I would suggest as a MUST !!! need, is an attachment peice that can basicy merge to all the ones you have on the green arms, so that you can take all the tools it has from site to site easily.

This would also let you possiblyhave the bee put together instead of the green arms.

the author doesnt whant to make a atmo version its more bulky however iff you DL the mod link that has bin post and he comes whit that modded engine that has all 3option's build in then its still compact time whill tell

Just swap the ions w/the modular thrusters and you have an atmo/ssto/space variant :)

Also space utility ships are much more rare nowadays then atmospheric utility ships; I am not the only one that builds stuff like this xD

There is probably a atmospheric version of this already out there just in a different style. (and probably no dlc too)

@Locomotor79 Do what you like; As I have said before, I do not plan to make a atmospheric or SSTO variant anytime soon, if at all. Pure hydrogen is also really bad in almost any situation regarding planets. I have considered making rigs for things like that, but even then, it just would not be worth it.

Hydrogen whould almost same size but atmo whould be bulky through becausse the engines are 3x1x1 while the Ion are 2x1x1 but the hydro version its only 1x1x1 iff you donot count the coveyer system but still you atleast forgot air tank in it.
als you could have used the same for the drills as you used it for the grinder and welder module

@McTec Ind. Be sure to have a area for the rigs, sometimes it feels like they take up more space then dedicated ships. xD

@prince yuval As the two above you said, you can easily just replace the cockpit. :p

As far as I know, it should work with all the rigs since there is no difference in length. :)

@1632andreas Can't wait to make a super yacht with all the dlc and then someone complaining they don't have the money for a 'super yacht' xD

This is genius... so I technically only need a small landing gear (or two) at my home base to place one set of gear and replace it with another, to do multiple kinds of work. Probably going to use this system in survival (saves a lot of grinding or making more vehicles... ergo time and resources).

(from oldest to newest)
1 - I don't plan on making a atmospheric version at the moment, and by no means ever a SSTO version. Would end up way to bulky for my liking.

2- I find compact better considering not everyone raises their helmets in cockpits anyway. Also would make conveyors like hell.

3- Right click to tunnel, and then surface mine. Your basic miner functionality.

aswhell for the mining part those drills and that far apart whont realy work whit mining you cockpit whould hit a voxel pillar lol
