Well, the devs deleted the disase entirely.

A small price to pay for salvation.

Yep, that's unavoidable with how I implemented this.

It also plays when you dig a diseased plant. Is it supposed to be that way?

I'm not sure what you mean, the character already does that in the vanilla game.

I think it would be more interesting if the character makes a comment about that something is wrong with the plant but nice mod

A nice designed mod, I like it. Useful if you're taking care for the plants in your base, works just like intended.

But it still deserves an option to change the disease warning sound to another sound like:
Moose/Goose's particularly loud honk, Batilisk Battle Cry, DS: Old Bell Ringing, Splumonkey Battle Cry, Wickerbottom's Yawning, Thunder, Bee Queen Battle Cry,
or any other kind of loud or annoying sound.
