Bought no extra DLC.
And confirm I just tested. Bought an ecologist hero and no increase in the overcolonization limit.
Funny thing is, the text in the federation does show like the mod is active. It just does not work.

It does look to me like it often does not work. So we end up with the patch. It can fool you because if we buy a hero from the 2 parties in government, it increases the limit following patch rules. But if you buy a hero from a party which is not in government, you find out that it often is not working.

Doesn't seem to be working. Just to test it out a have 21 heroes, but only a 13 colony limit.

I dont think theres an easy way to code that, since theres not an easy way to find race

Before this nerf, I thought that this old overcolonization bonus was too strong,
but at the same time the modification Ampllitude done is a too strong nerf.

I wish they will modifiy this, and add something like "+1 overcolonization limit par hero that match the main political party (as they do) and +1 overcolonization limit per hero of the main played race".... this or something else, between the too strong bonus and the too strong nerf...

Is it something easy to code in a mod ?

Captain Cobbs I mean you kind of fixed it just by releasing this mod, because changing to Federation as Hissho while using this mod allows the entire empire to be balanced out more and not suffer as long as it has heroes. So overall this mod does make the Hissho much more playable again, but if you wanted to you could revert the FIDS penalty to target only the home system instead of all their systems. As Tonatsi said, we pretty much want you to reverse all the negative changes made in the last patch lol. Here's the patch notes if you're interested.

Hey there! I've released the first part of the thing I promised 2 comments down, reversing the effects of the rebalance on Saints and Sinners. I'm releasing each one separately so people can choose which they want and don't want.

Captain Cobbs Indeed, but Hissho FIDS penalty and maybe fleet accelerators are the most important ones. Also, I'd like to adress one thing that is very important to me as well, they are completely nerfing Influence in all forms. You gain less influence from buildings, and also science/trade agreements along with cooperative protocols are now expensive asf. They both nerfed influence production and made diplomacy more expensive. I was playing with Umbral Choir, and I literally couldn't have more than one science and one trade agreement because it cost me like 300 influence a turn for the two of them. Yes, 300 a turn. Again, thank you so much for making these mods/even considering it.

These are the other 3 changes that seem to bother people, does this sound about right on what you are asking me to fix?


Fleet accelerator modules can only be equipped on hero ships.
Saints & Sinners now gives +20 Approval on all Systems and an additional +20 Approval on Systems with governors
FIDSI malus from Resource Recoverers now applies on ALL systems and not only main system

Guvenoren Alright, let me educate you. Instead of having -5% FIDS on your home system per system over the overcolonization treshold, you now get -5% FIDS on EVERY system you have. What's worse? Hissho has 2 max colonized system. TWO. SYSTEMS. But hey, this could be countered by changing to federation and buying tons of heroes, right? Nope! Now only heroes for your current political party adds a +1 colonized system effect. So it's even harder. Also, their colonization us pure a s s. Thanks, the last patch/change they made was awful and game breaking when it comes to Hissho. The Hissho faction is literally unlpayable now, and I was content with the faction until the latest update. I regret buying the dlc now. The change in federation/overcolonization isn't game breaking, but I'm still glad you uploaded this. Thank you.
