I haven't done any real updates for my mods in a while, only changing the version number to the current version of Stellaris. It should be fine for you to play with the current version of my mod until I get around to updating it.
If this is not the case and the mod is actually broken please feel free to comment again or tell me directly.

I got it to work by deleting that file. Also can you make a garrus advisor by chance??

Im having the same problem with it saying the mod is missing descriptor file

it was a problem on my end, deleting mods_manifest.json fixed it

It's working fine on my end but I did stumble upon people with similar issues because of the new launcher check the discussions if you're still having issues.
