Better to keep it as a spell. You don't want to open gates to out-of-place effects visible all year round.

thats a minor detail but i think it would be nice if you applied this on kritzkrieg and it would change the color of weapon to medi beam color when crits are used

I honestly think spells were removed deliberately. There are a ton of particle effects in game already, and they've only added more strain to servers. I still wish they'd bring them back, but I don't think they will. If Valve is worried about offending traders, then they could even keep the old ones unavailable and just add new ones. Although it would feel odd if spells like voices from below or exorcism and the other weapon spells didn't return.

It would be nice to bring back spells, they could keep the economy in check by just making the existing ones vintage or something

Sure sucks how nice this is. Removing Halloween spells was probably an oversight, but because the traders started price gouging now Valve can't re-add them or "it'll hurt our economy!"

Ghosts wouldnt really fit, maybe if it gave a more fitting icon or effect like wizard stars or something more related to healing, but exorcism ghosts nah.

Hey i think the blu medi beam should be a bluer purple or a dark blue so it's easier to tell the teams apart but other wise this is a great spell!

This looks hella cool in my opinion, but that might be my inner Medic speaking. Regardless, I, too, hope spells eventually return. Maybe from contracts or Halloween gift packages.

If only Valve would bring back halloween gifts like from old Scream Fortress updates, but sadly we all know that ain't happening since they've been replaced with gargoyles back in 2015 and pretty much the only way anyone can get spelled items is through trading.

It still makes me genuinely wish that spells returned in some shape or form in the future.
