Fun scenario with lots of quite difficult breaking. Thank you!

was enjnoying the run in 64bit, had the prefect balance of dynamic/train brakes going down the hill. I was almost finished and the game just froze no errors it just froze had to restart the computer.

done. lots of good AI traffic and down hill. Dynamic breaking and air breaking. OK. No sleeping - so get a great nights sleep BEFORE - LOL. Beer time. Nice ride

Another great scenario, Gary. I've come to the conclusion that I perfer the west side of the pass. And what else can anyone say about the SP SD70M.......what a great loco......interior layout, sound, etc. Can certainly understand why this is one of your personal favorites.

Really nice run. It had been a while since I ran on Donner Pass. So, this was a good scenario to get back in there with. Of course it was superb and the AI traffice was great. I did good with the dynamic brakes too. I was afraid to go past 11% with them for fear of derailing on the 2 and 3% grade(i've experienced wheel slip in other scenarios when using too much dynamic). So I kept it to that setting and just applied minimum train brake each time I approached the speed limit. That kept my speed very managable.I never once went over. I had no operational errors at all. So, a good run and I ran it from start to finish in one sitting.

I see what it is now. I thought the SD70 came with the new 2014 disc but sadly it did not. I'm a little disappointed at the few things the disc came with and have to pay twice as much for a single addon. Sorry bout the confusion. My mistake.

Yet another first-class effort Elphaba. I never really understood dynamic brakes until I played this scenario, so it was something of a tutorial for me. Got the hang of it now (hopefully). Thank you.

Scenario failed to load. Locomotive consist pops up as the error. Tried several times to reload but no luck.

Not for the faint of heart, With over 50 loaded cars of coal in the consist, dynamic brakes screaming at the edge of burning out, I still had to tap the train brakes several times to keep this beast under control!!! I think that was my first time on track 1 which was very fun. Thanks again for another fine scenario.

A| Chicken Dinner: I assume (hope) that if you get Donner as part of the TS2014 package, you will get the SP SD70M as it was part of the Donner release with TS2014.

I'm going to get Donner Pass, but it is much cheaper to get it in the Train Simulator 2014 Steam Package. I was just wondering since I already have Train Simulator 2014, if I would get any of the other DLC in that package.

I just bought the SD70m today. Looking forward to trying this one out. Your scenarios are always top notch.

Beautiful run! Just wish my raildriver brakes worked with this loco. Had to use the HUD. Do you know if anyone has a fix for the raildriver?

E165: Yes, same here ... I'm getting way more than usual negative votes with the SP SD70M scenario. I think it has to do with people being confused about whether they have the loco or not, which is why I added the note to the description box above. I'm sure your scenario is fine. Of course as usual, those few people who vote negatively never bother to explain why .....

I get negative ratings on this scenario, I think some players have problems with the SD70 dlc ... or so I made some mistakes, but I don't know where. You'll tell me ... thanks Elphaba :)
