imo valve should have that setting as a slider in the game performance options menu. only the lowest end of pc's will have problems with jigglebones affecting performance these days. don't know why they don't add it.

@yo mama! happens to every jiggleboned item, including the holy mackerel, but there is a solution. tf2 by default watches framerate, and if it dips below 45 for even one instant, it'll disable jigglebones until the fps improves, to ease your pc. this is increasingly prevalent as the tf2 gets bulkier with every update.

the solution is: cl_jiggle_bone_framerate_cutoff 1

run that code in console to change the cutoff from 45fps to 1fps. your game is not likely to ever dip below 1fps, so effectively this leaves jigglebones always on. 0 disables jigglebones entirely, so don't use that. jiggleboned items will freeze until you change it back.

to make the game run this code on its own every startup, put it in your autoexec.cfg. it can be just an empty notepad file with that code pasted. save as "all files" and put "autoexec.cfg" in the name, then put it in the appropriate folder.

well i promised a few people to explain how it works if it got accepted so i am going to type it anyway. i'm planning to post it on polycount forums. however i also want to learn sfm and enter something for the saxxy, and that has a deadline, so it may be a while. soon though, since the deadline isn't that far away.

how do they move without an animation file?

they have no animation file, so they were fully compatible with the gold star importer. that may have something to do with it.

i am suprised they addid this, not because they are not worthy as they are but because i never though they would add something that moves like this.

i wanted it to be both, because 1, they are too similar to each other that valve would probably not accept two of these into the game and 2, it would fit both search terms for better visibility during the voting phase. you're right that the beak is raven-based. it is what i studied in the process of making it.

is it a crow or a raven? the face and beak looks close to a raven, but i cant tell cause i need more of a picture (top and side) to know for sure. but you made it, what did you want it to be? if its a raven i'd by it on the spot (i love ravens) if its a crow, than probably not buy it...

the crow moves just fine, lower your jigglebone cutoff if they're getting auto turned off due to lag
