Any word on the industrial age armors making a comeback for 1.6?

I don't think the armours in this game work with Mend & Recycle mod, but I'm not sure, I'm testing some stuff. I mean, you can still use Mend & Recycle with this mod, but it wont mend (repair) the items from this mod, only vanilla armours.

But I just think that, as I said, I need to do further testing.

why on earth would a "good plate helmet" give much less armor than a "good helmet" when the plate helmet requires 900 additional research in a research linked after the research that givves the normal helmet?????
have you ever played your own mod since you released it, or are you just coding....?

reason: chainmails aren't worn on the skin & they also do not cover legs! -_-

Figured it out wasn't this was THIGAPPE or WRelicK's APP Utilities that was causing issues i'm pretty sure.

Siegebreaker helmets do not have vacuum resistance, despite the fact that trooper helmet do.

I used the ghillie outfit with rifle drafted and also hunting.. then with the quiet compound bow.. I'm glad I didn't tackle muffalos because while it MAY slow down hunting retaliation.. the tooltip makes it seem like you're good, and it's a pretty significant investment in research.. Did I miss something?

There might be a bug with the siegebreaker armour. it doesn't seem to protect against the cold despite the armour being rated for cold weather.

Two things, could the 'Vanilla Shield Expanded' settings menu be revamped? Either add some lines between weapons or make the menu thinner, because knowing which weapons to toggle is a chore and a half, and unnecessarily annoying. Also was putting the 'Reset mod settings to default' /right below the search bar/ intentional? Because it's embarrassing just how many times I've accidentally clicked that thing.

Now that the cold resistance of Navy armor has been increased to 69℃, have you considered increasing the cold resistance of Siegebreaker armor?

Ludeon buffed power armor’s cold protection in 1.6. Maybe you should do the same with Siegebreaker Armor? And also, finally fix its duplicate layers while you’re at it?

@coolicetee well if it was reduced by that much then I suppose it should be balanced the same, likely reducing it to -0.8 c/s or -0.9 c/s. I realized that it's not balanced if your own competitor armor can run twice as fast as you.

Pawns can´t wear marine boots and gloces with bionics in the force wear gizmo comes the messge missing body part.

for some reason marine gloves, boots from here and from apparel expanded are set to "none" layer which makes pawns wear all the boots and gloves they can get their hands on, is this a known issue related to some mod?

Siegebreaker armour does now have correct vacuum resistance, as does the Prestige Siegebreaker armour, but the Prestige Siegebreaker HELMET does not.

Also, whilst it's obviously the trooper armour has noticeably reduced vac resistance compared to other "powered" armours, is it intentional that the prestige variant does not have any?

I think it's still balanced to have a ranged shield armor be slow as hell since it guarantees you won't be damaged at all while it is up.

Hello, You probably already know this but just thought I would mention it as well. When an enemy pawn spawns in with the Ghillie suit, I cannot select them. I can have a drafted pawn fire or attack them by right click commanding them to do so but I cant see their stats or anything until I get my pawn to strip them of the armour.

Dont know if thats a bug or intended.

Don't remenber the speed before 1.6 but it don't seem like the movement speed penality for siegebreaker didn't change to reflect Cataphract change

the missing vac resistance also applies to the prestige versions of trooper armor.

To be precise. The Siegebreaker helmet is missing +68% vacuim resistance (Cataphract helmet have that much. Siegebreaker armour have the correct +30% vacuim resistance that other space armours have

Getting some random errors now, not sure what updated and broke it, submitted an error report.
Config error in Empire_Fighter_Grenadier: required apparel can't be worn together (VAE_Footwear_PlateBoots, Apparel_PowerArmor)

For visibility, getting a bunch of those errors

hi, i think you cant make a gambeson aout of any other than cloth, i wold like to make a heavy fur gambeson and i have 65 cloth and 150 Heavy fur and its not possible.

It seems a bit absurd to add a 1000 point research project, crammed between two unrelated existing ones, in the main tab instead of the VE tab, that adds one single head apparel...

I checked, and Combat Expanded reworks power armor to cover hands and feet, making the power armor gloves and boots useless in this mod

My pawns wont wear his power armor boots and gloves with the marine armor. When I use to play, he could, but now he just takes off the marine armor if i try to make him.

@I CANT BEEF yeah, wondering that too. was looking for it in the research tree, but it's nowhere to be found. I'm playing with CE tho, so I wonder if CE wants us to use "CE: Armors - Extended Cut" for that, since it includes them too
