and yes, this works to give anyone negative money, I'd recommend adding a $1 minimum drop for pots like you have with players, accidentally found this making something with wiremod

just getting back into Gmod and found something hilarious: if you make a money pot drop -$1000 money, it instantly gains $1000 and drops a box, then when you pick that box up it takes $1000 from your cash x3 I kind-of love it tho, it's like matter-money and anti-matter-money

Why would that be a good suggestion? Requiring an external storage type for an addon is a horrible idea. Either way there isn't even that much data to be stored. So, having a SQL storage for this addon would only have disadvantages.
And for the storage addon. The data is bound to the entity itsself, so when saving gmod compresses it all for the savefile.

Awesome! Works perfectly, just onee more request :3 Would it be possible to add a wire input to drop a certain amount from a pot? If the input is zero/greater than contents, just drop everything as normal, but if the value is, say, 50, drop $50 from the pot? With that I can fully implement withdrawing and depositing from player wire bank accounts, vending machines, etc :D

Just started using this addon again recently, I don't know how actively this is still being developed but I wanted to do some wire integrating, developing my own money system using wiremod e2 and realised it would be much nicer to just work it into this one, however there doesn't appear to be any method of telling exactly what quantity of money is dropped at any point. Could there possibly be a money pot/'scanner' type item in future? Thanks :3 Still a great addon

You can already drop money with !dropmoney <amount>. I will also look into the other two suggestions later today.

great addition to sandbox gameplay! some suggestions (if possible) would be a. a way to drop physical money that can be picked up by you and other players (aside from on death) b. make police able to kill chemists with possibly a higher reward? and maybe c. make chempot explode or something if chemicals are added in the wrong order, just ideas :3

there you can buy weapon crates, press e on the crate to make it drop a weapon ontop of it(if you're standing too close you will pick it up instantly)
look at the weapon crate and press k to check its status(weapontype,amount).

to activate the printer, do !printerdealer. then it costs 1k$ to activate it. after that you just have to wait, and press e to get the money out of the printer
