[WOTC] Start at Force Level 10

My first retaliation mission had 3 Archons, 3 Berserkers, a Spectre, a Shieldbearer, a Heavy Lance, and the Faceless + Chosen combo. I'm using Reshi's Golden Requiem mod so maybe that's why it's a lot heavier than anticipated. It's almost impossible even with save scumming. I love it. Thanks for the mod.

This sounds interesting, but is there a way to simply have FL increase faster dynamically?

Legend- starts with BA full package mods & extra UFO & dark event mods, its rough, but as usual the snowballing starts and ploop. I'd wager that's why use this. Although it would be nice if there was a mod that simply increases FL way faster. I'm up to Plasmas at FL 8. (Well researched anyway, no alloys to buy lol)

@lumiere you can go to launch settings in AML and - allowconsole in launch option, similar to steam, Google it

I know in the .ini 20 is the MaxForceLevel. Can you go higher than that?

Is there any way to skip the first level? XD Everything is fine once I can start putting some of my mods into effect. But I'm using the AML and it doesn't seem to allow for console commands, so I can't autowin/kill all enemies on it. Otherwise the starting pods just outright kill me

You can do it yourself it's very easy. Go to your xcom 2 WOTC config folder, something like this
D:\SteamSlow\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame\Config
Find the file deafultgamedata and open with notepad
find the line alien_headquater_startingforcelevel = 1
change it to whatever you like

Just an update gatecrasher was run with quick start as i do so many restarts because of all the mods that keep coming out. Will tell you the first mission was very hard as i play on legenary, but not iron man! Would suggest your mod for starting om level 5 as a good place to start with.

I have just made Force Level 5 and Force Level 20 versions of this mod to give some variety for how doomed the Commander would like to be. Enjoy, Commander!

I can see myself trying this mod with a mod that allows me to start with say 5-6 xcom team sizes to help feal with the addes difficulty. Nice mod

Gatecrasher had 2 officers,11 troopers,2 shieldbearers; 3 berserkers, 1 mec,1 purifer,1sectoid, and 4 vipers....Seems to work a treat!

Subbed and waiting to play on new campaign - current campaign already at 20 so not much point adding it now.
I'm pretty certain it'll work with the other mods I use, including Pod size by Force Level, Yellow Alert and Light Strategic Changes. As well as all those nasty alien mods from Claus, LEB and the CX gang.

I haven't tested it specifically but I see no reason why this mod wouldn't work with Increase Pods by Force Level, as my mod only changes the number at which Force Level starts with about one line of text and leaves everything else alone. Give it a try!

Does this have conflicts with Increase Pods size by Force level or are they ok to use together? Because I use a larger squad I prefer to have more Advent during a battle so for each soldier to shoot at.
