Thanks Han, i did check i got 'em all, actually if i remember correctly the mission popped up before then after again so technically I did do it must of been a bug. Anyway it was just a small point no worries. I will check the waypoint south again maybe i missed it in the excitement hehe. Really looking forward to your next one, good luck ...staying tuned ;-)

hey Napalm, glad you liked it, ill look on it on the weekend, lot of work now :-/ for the ambush.. all the cars have to be absolutely destroyed ( there is 4 vehicles, mb one got stuck :-/) then it should be completed. With heli you are supposed to fly south ( there should be waypoin, ill make sure it is there :) ) and i think i could have my 3rd recon mission finished by the end of the weekend so stay tuned ;)

Love it mate thanks.
Didnt trigger the Ambush part for some reason? Got all the trucks on the bridge then nothing happened so went for fuel. Also didnt know where to fly after getting airborne so mission ended failed - last warning was about to be detected by enemy radar. Hmm maybe you can tell me what went wrong.
Love the misssion though and appreciate the time and effort. I look foward to another!

Thx, really nice mission. And not too hard, even for a beginner. But i had also the problem, that the task 'get to chopper' never finished. Perhaps i found no way to repair the chopper?

No probs, that's what the community should do, hone each others missions with suggestions.

I believe there is a mod LSD that allows for adjustment of nvg, Yes, the default is a pain, too much flare. I actually should add it myself.

Anyway, thanks for the insight on what you are doing. Cheers

P2 my next operations will be propably during day in a part of large scale attack as finale of my "Recon triology" where i'll deffinately put more freedom into choosing your own approach. So i hope you will stick by, until it comes out and give me some feedback aswell :)
May the force be with you :NATO:

P1 my apologies on the waypoints topic... im designing missions since Arma 2 and i never realized i can change the activable radius of the waypoint. And for the EMP it was just a joke ;) i mainly don't like the automatic adjusting of the NVGs so far. I hope they include manual adjusting as it was possible with ACE in OA, because NVGs seems to adjust "however" they want in some circumstances :D I already played mission where it was achieved via scripting, but im to lazy/don't have enought time to include it, and i think it's not necessary for this mission...

PART2:
(Historical fact - during the cold war when the Americans discovered the effect of nuclear explosions and the resultant emp pulse, they were alarmed at the fact that their solid-state electronics in their aircraft made them vunerable. At the time, the Russian aircraft such as the Migs, still relied on valve electronics which is inherently immune to emp pulses. So the Americans had to quickly "harden" their electronics so their aircraft wouldn't be crippled.)
Apologise if I caused some offense in describing your mission as an attempt. As I said,I appreciate your effort.

PART1: Hope I wasn't too negatively critical.
The waypoint is tool that should be used but you may not be aware that it has an outer ring which can be adjusted in diameter so you don't have to particularly reach the centre point. Suggest maybe a 30m radius on average. This still allows your troops to reach certain point but they may do it in their own fashion, limiting exposure to potential hostile force.
Appreciate you researching for a moonlit night and you having a desire for chemlights but for me it broke the realism. Military hardware are, in the main, hardened against emp attacks.
Jericho  [author] 27 Sep, 2013 @ 5:33am
2/2 I spent a lot of time looking for full moon night and the fact that you dont have NVG is in my point of view negligable (also i wanted you, to enjoy fireworks without glare). So in joking manner, lets say this part of island is under special "EMP" when you have to strictly follow waypoints and NVGs doesn't work.
And i belive this is not mission attempt, attempts are still in my editor, or mb by some other users on workshop ;)
peace :NATO:

1/2 No need to be sorry Ronbocop, i am aware of the fact that the waypoints are restricting, but when i was doing testing with my friends they basically wanted to "crawl" all way on beach or all the way throught the inland which in reall life you could do, but since this mission is not made with random patrol script, but with manually placed units with triggers which you need to encounter in order to not just meet stationary enemy units (or not meet any at all). for example if you didnt meet the civi, he couldn't warn you and etc...
Ronbocop 27 Sep, 2013 @ 3:22am
Sorry mate, appreciate you making a mission however I believe this should be fleshed out a little more. Specificallly
Waypoints: Don't make waypoints so small in trigger area that you have to be within 1m of them activating. This is an open world platform where we should define our own attack vectors, do not turn this game into a corridor shooter.
Equipment: The mission starts with the team en-route to a new mission area, night is now falling, why do we not have access to NVG?
Realism: I felt I was at a rave with all the random chemlights through the map.
Good luck with next mission attempt.

did you then get into the chopper and flied away (south)? There should be task created when you refuel heli and get into it... i just played it with friend yesterday and everything worked fine, so that is odd :D :NATO:

Liked this mission espacially the part when you defend the church, however my mission never ended even though i got back safe to the chopper, not that it matter as all of the objectives was complete.
Jericho  [author] 22 Sep, 2013 @ 11:04pm
thank you, judging by your avatar i guess you also liked the guitar solo? :D
btw: be sure to check out my first mission, where you save the civi which helped you :)
