Join some Discords, join some FB groups and ask around who has quality mods, and buy one... then find that same mod online for free and see the difference in quality. Giving these legit modders a few bucks for all their time and dedication is a small price to pay to make the game alot more enjoyable and realistic.

The modders certainly arent doing this for themselves. They're not making bank of these trucks, ffs. And most of the modders who do borrow parts from this guys work, or that guys work, especially here and on FB, they give credit where credit is due, if that info is known. It's when you guys get out there on the internet at the scummy mod sites you find people sharing for free what are outdated paid mods, and y'all think the quality of the work is crap. It's crap because it's outdated.

People don't seem to understand, these guys/gals making these mods, ffs, they have lives to live, full time jobs to do, families to raise. Most if not all make these mods in their spare time, and it's not like a 2 or 3 day thing. It takes literally MONTHS, some up to a year+ to make a quality truck, especially if the truck was built from scratch, so I don't see where giving some appreciation to the modders is such a huge deal, $25 for a truck that has 1,000's of hours invested. And for who? YOU!! The crybaby players!!

@Krezzin I did all my mods from scratch, there is not a single part from another mod.

@mean1mrgrinch Because he's a greedy, worthless piece of garbage like the majority of the modders in the American Truck Simulator community, who care more about money and fame, than actually sharing and making mods with the community. All while illegally selling trademarked products.

Matter of fact, @sirblackyalot, "the lad [that] did an amazing job" and all other self-proclaimed modders selling mods, often see themselves as victims of someone sharing what usually is half theirs. Why? I came across about 30 paid mods already sold for ludicrous price, being mods or having parts from mods done by others for older SCS' titles, such as Haulin, PttM. Though the "good lads" never credit the original authors for any parts they used, be it sounds, be it materials or textures.

So, as others have said. F**K the rats earning,money on the back of SheryO and dozens of other legendary modders never done a paid mod during the time Haulin was popular. Don't buy anything out of anyone promoting "his" work on Facebook, lol. Scammers live there.

Yea but.... They'd probably get more if it was $3-$5. And it doesn't make sense to sell a mod to begin with in my opinion, but if I were them, I'd make a free version that wasn't as good as the paid one so people could pick if they wanted to pay or not. (Especially since the truck is more expensive than the game itself right now.)

@Wafflehatjoe if you dont like the fact the lad did an amazing job on truck and trailer ive only ever bought 3 mods because i well believe its worth it. I dont make anything off advertising his work plus i put the links and pic there so people knew where and how much, @skull there reason they charge so much is that there not going to sell 1mill copys of a truck mod they may only see a few 100 copys of the thing.
