Pretty much the same vanilla skin, just animated, yeah. I wanted to make something simple that others could build on, and they did!
Cheyenne 11 Jul, 2019 @ 1:40pm
isnt it the same animation vanilla uses just more noticable
CowForceSeven 20 Jul, 2017 @ 7:42pm
Oh well, I figured if it hadn't been done it probably couldn't be done but I said it anyways.
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] 20 Jul, 2017 @ 3:40pm
Noooot really. As far as I know, only one membrane shader can be applied on an item at a time. On top of that, membrane shaders can only have one "pattern" which is displayed.
CowForceSeven 19 Jul, 2017 @ 3:51pm
I'm just taking a shot in the dark here, and it'd probably be hard work, but if you had two enchantments on one thing (like fire and lightning) couldn't you make a completely new effecft shader that just looks like the two combined?
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] 26 Dec, 2016 @ 4:18pm
Sort of. I have several versions available on the Nexus with vanilla sounds. I never put them up on Steam because that would require a wholly different mod page on the Workshop.
DMKI 22 Dec, 2016 @ 3:25am
The unsheathe sounds are terrible. If I have weapons with more than one enchantment, and the sword is unsheathed (e.g. when adopted child unsheats the wooden sword to practice), the sound is like something exploded. Is there a way to disable these sounds?

Well that's ok. I was just trying to suggest something. But I really think you did an awesomely amazing job. Keep up the good work!!:steamhappy:
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] 1 Aug, 2015 @ 9:37pm
Unfortunately I don't really think it's possible to put more than one effect shader on an item at a time, or if it is, I don't know how. You might poke around on the Skyrim Nexus though - there are quite a few really good mods for weapon enchants on there. I don't think any of them quite do what you're looking for, but you might find something closer than my mod.

Paragon of Badassosity If you could do this this would be awesome (I AM DOWNLOADING THIS), Could you add the different effects on one weapon. Make it like a lava lamp sort of thing lol. Like if it was health and stanima they would be mixed together like what red and green would make (That one was just a suggestion on what you could do) or make them like be filled in kinda.
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] 25 Oct, 2014 @ 11:10pm
Thanks!

This is a great mod, its nothing immersion-breaking or gamebreaking, it just adds to the game and makes it look even better. The animations are done extremely well!
Slugula 22 Sep, 2013 @ 6:04pm
ah, then i will be getting it there then, thankyou for the timely respone.
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] 22 Sep, 2013 @ 6:03pm
Yeah, I uploaded another version with the vanilla sounds over on the Nexus. Steam Workshop isn't really helpful when it comes to publishing several different versions of a mod. : \
Slugula 22 Sep, 2013 @ 5:39pm
this is a great mod, but some unsheathing sound effects are WAY too loud - like deafening and completely UNFITTING for the enchantment used. Turn undead is one example.
Silamon 6 Sep, 2013 @ 1:38pm
nevermind, it does ^.^ great mod
Silamon 6 Sep, 2013 @ 1:28pm
does this work with modded weapons? specifically the Isilmeriel's LOTR collection and Glimmer modded weapons?
Blackfire Valkryie 1 Aug, 2013 @ 9:51pm
Very good mod. i too agree that perhaps some high level partical effects for stronger enchants would be awsome.
76561198055743944 8 Apr, 2013 @ 1:52pm
You should definetly add some sort of particle effects on the weapons (at least to high-level enchantments)

this is the mod i was using, i think that its a little too distracting, but you might like it
Tommy The Tank 19 Mar, 2013 @ 9:03am
All you did was make the shitty animations move! I thought you would have actually made them look better :(
cmzpowrrangr 14 Feb, 2013 @ 6:51pm
paragon could you make it where the enchants will leave a wave like fire will leave a wave of fire and so on
SmexiChromosome 12 Dec, 2012 @ 2:32pm
this is the shit. love you bro.
Obi 12 Nov, 2012 @ 6:10pm
This is a really cool mod makes the fire enchantment look so much better.
adrianash 5 Nov, 2012 @ 9:31am
Love this mod, great work
Colby Wan Kenobi 12 Oct, 2012 @ 3:42pm
Turns out it wasn't your mod. my game just started to have problems. Thanks though.
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] 12 Oct, 2012 @ 2:36pm
Do me a favor : first disable my mod and start up Skyrim, run around a little to make sure my mod was the problem. Second disable all other mods and re-enable this one, load up Skyrim and do the same stuff. Gonna start with the Sherlock Holmes "eliminate the obvious."
Colby Wan Kenobi 12 Oct, 2012 @ 2:13pm
Anytime. Good point, that may be the problem.
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] 12 Oct, 2012 @ 2:03pm
Weird. Does it lag you out when you draw the weapon, when you see it on the wall, etc? Also, are you using any other mods that affect weapon enchants?
Colby Wan Kenobi 12 Oct, 2012 @ 10:26am
It has lagged me out of the game many times, but I love this mod. Please look into that.

Skyrim Nexus link? @Paragonofbadassosity
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] 6 Oct, 2012 @ 10:09am
I changed the background sound on some of the enchants when you draw them. I think the absorbs and damage magicka / stamina do the dragon flyover sound.
Shadow Wolf 6 Oct, 2012 @ 9:25am
hi paragon i fear to ask wath was tat bekround sound
76561198065212861 15 Sep, 2012 @ 4:50pm
they look good sorry for yelling i just wish everyone would realize that alot of people skip over mods with no pictures, we need to know what were downloading.
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] 12 Sep, 2012 @ 10:58pm
Well as the effects are animated, a static screenshot doesn't generally do a whole lot of good, which is why I made the youtube video. Anyhow, uploaded some screens anyway. Hope that helps.
76561198065212861 12 Sep, 2012 @ 4:35pm
im sure this could be on the most popular IF YOU ADDED FUCKING PICTURES!!! seriously we need to know what were downloading
chenz_9 8 Jun, 2012 @ 12:47am
Not good at all.
I even spent time to look at it on youtube...
76561198055516225 15 May, 2012 @ 7:05pm
picture? make pictures ingame with F12. Please... anyone should notice this mod
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] 29 Apr, 2012 @ 8:25am
@Mick Jagger - good call, I should do one that hits *just* the daedric artifacts.

@QuickFox - Now that you mention it, it's a little disproportionate to the other glows. I probably should do an alt version that tones it down a little.
Teh-Husky 29 Apr, 2012 @ 5:45am
Ive noticed that the 'soul trap' enchant is waaaaaay too strong compared to some of your other enchantment shaders... seriously, it makes the whole weapon glow so brightly you cant make out the weapon texture beneath it, and I think you need to tone it down somehow. I havent tested every enchant in your whole mod, so I cannot say if this is the only one that is so overpowering.
Darrullo 25 Apr, 2012 @ 11:56pm
if you do dawnbreaker can you please make it into a seperate mod because i want this but i love dawnbreaker
McNicken 24 Apr, 2012 @ 8:20am
very good mod i hope you continue and add some flame style animations as well as spark animations similar to when you cast the spells.
Bunke 12 Apr, 2012 @ 9:43pm
if u can make it glow more and spark- flame etc effects too that would be freaking awesome.
Still Wavy 4 Apr, 2012 @ 11:50am
It would be amazing if you could continue the work of the Enchanted Weapon FX mod. I have it too and it is simply awsome, but unfinished. Unfortunatly he didnt use the animation files of the bound bow for fire enchantment on bows, it still uses the sword animation. But the frost and shock enchantments are fine. Only work is needed on the fire enchantment animations
Dabbre 31 Mar, 2012 @ 1:39pm
Awesome mod! Always hated it that the enchantings where barely visible, good work!
76561198054523646 28 Mar, 2012 @ 5:03am
please add elemental fury effects. It would be awswome
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] 23 Mar, 2012 @ 6:31am
I'm betting he used the bound bow effect on the bow, probably the axe on two handed axes. Animation files like those of the bound weapons can be applied to all sorts of things, sort of like the Chillrend frosty mist effect I talk about in the documentation above. In fact, it looks like he used the Chillrend effect for frost weapons, which I considered but decided against because it looks terrible on daggers (the mist originates from a point in space not attached to the dagger!) and the lightning hit effect on shock weapons. The shock hit does give me an idea I'll have to look into though. Thanks for the screenshots!

With that said, my previous message has been shortened considerably, to:
The exact name of the mod was "Enchanted Weapon FX". I'm guessing they took it down becuase the fire effect was designed solely for the daedric sword; the fire enchantment effect was the same on every sword but only perfectly overlapped that one -- even daggers had the sword-length effect.
They made new effects for all three elements, but the one I used most was the fire one. The effect was applied when the weapon was unsheathed, and made the same sound as conjuring a weapon. The author said that it was limited to swords, but it appeared on my ebony bow too, albeit reversed. The mod also affected enemy weapons.
76561198046676800 22 Mar, 2012 @ 11:38pm
Alright, just uploaded a bunch of new screenshots with one- and two-handed weapons, swords and axes alike, and even a couple of bows, with various enchantments for each type of weapon. I don't often use lightning for some reason, so I only had about two weapons to show for that. I also very rarely use blunts, so I didn't have any with elemental enchantments close at hand; I'll try to find an example one later.
