may be worth removing the second building requirements for units to avoid conflicts from other mods that edit the buildings. just an idea, great mod thanks :)

Commenting here to report that there are issues in the campaign when trying to recruit Chaos Warrior, Knight and Chosen variants. With the Chaos Shrine and any combination of one of the new buildings, maxed out, the UI demonstrates that I am supposedly missing the Chaos Shrine and I cannot recruit the new units. There seem to be no issues with the new lower tier units; merely the Chaos Warriors, Knights and Chosen.

Also don't download RPFM from SourceForge. Github's safer and it lets you see what you're downloading.

Google Warhammer 2 RPFM and you can find a github link.

Once you have it downloaded, make a new folder somewhere and unzip everything in there. the zip should be 156 files and have an application called * rpmf.exe * open that.

Click * PackFile * at the top left of the Rusted PackFile Manager application.

Click * Open PackFiles

Go to your steam workshop folder for warhammer, it should be:
\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\594570\

Find the folder for this mod. I found it by sorting the files in there by Date Modified and resubbing the mod so it was the most recent.

Open * ak_ondriks_additional_chaos_units.pack * with the previously mentioned Open Packfiles option in RPFM

Once it's opened in RPFM, drop the boxes in the top left and go into the folder * db * and then * building_units_allowed_tables * and open the ak_ondriks thing. it should be the only file.

Once that's opened, check all of the boxes to the right underneath * Enabled *. It's like 60 boxes, no less clicking than running an army with 8 cav units

After they're all checked, save the file in the menus or by pressing CTRL and S at the same time.

RPFM will probably freeze for a few seconds but as long as the window goes back to normal just close it and you're good.

@crombrindal What is PFM and where can I find it? It sounds quite easy to just enable something by checking it. But i haven't the slightest clue where to find these files

If you can't recruit units even if you have the necessary buildings, you can edit the "building_units_allowed_tables" file if you know how to use PFM. There's a "enabled" column, just make sure it's all checked. (Wasn't for me, preventing the units to be recruitable, all works fine since I've done this)

Hello, I built the Cult of Tzeentch building and all it unlocked where the cultists and what not. Everything from this mod stays locked. Says you need a secondary building but does not say which one.

I am also getting crashes while starting the game, even with just using this mod and the add-on. Hope you can find the fix soon, really enjoy your mods!

if there's difficulties using this with the new patch, then if you go to steam library and go to the properties for this game, go to beta tab in there and set it to "warhammer11_1.8.3", that will load up the last version of the game before the patch, it won't have the new stuff, but you should be able to continue most saved games with mods configured for that version.
Also I too had issues with addtional buildings being required for units, even though I'd already had the buildings, I still couldn't recruit the units. likely because of incompatibilities with other mods, likely ultimate chaos. I went into the db files with rustypackfilemanager and in the main units section I went to "additional buildings required" and just deleted so that they were blank. It all works wonderfully fine now with no issues with recruitment.

mod currently doesn't work with G&G. If this or the main chaos mod or active, my game will crash before main menu. I hope they can update it as I love using this mod :)

Great stuff, I'm really into thematic armies for chaos and this is absolutely the final touch.

If there's anything I'd change it's the weapons of the chosen of khorne and knights of khorne, the glow on all the khornite weapons looks pink rather than red and it's a bit off putting. :/

How hard would it be to make a lite version of this mod that adds the mark-specific regular units, but doesn't add any other units and thus doesn't require the parent Overwhelming Chaos mod? Asking as marked vanilla units is something that would be really nice, but I don't want to have a crapton of custom units which really lack polish alongside what amounts to texture swaps.

Some ideas: You should change up the stats of the the units, like Warriors of Khorne and warriors of Slanesh shouldnt have the exact same stats but slightly different effects. The Slanesh building having a HUGE upkeep reduction i think needs to be changed. Its WAY too strong, makes it worth builing the building for the upkeep reduction alone. Not sure how your mods built but something that could be good - have it so that each building chain decreases the cost of the units in that chain but increases the upkeep of the other gods buildings - so building the Slanesh one will give a MUCH reduced upkeep reduction to Slanesh units (say 5/10/15) and an increase to Khorne, Nurgle and Tzeentch units of say again (5/10/15) could even go (10/15/20) for the increased upkeep of the other gods. It would be awesome to have a SFOversion as well

I found an issue: It states some units need to have a secondary building built before you can recruit them. For example. I just built Cult of Slaanesh building. 3 of the units ((Warriors of Slaanesh all 3) state that you need to have built Blashphemous Icon and Ruinous Alter to be able to recruit them, which i have none of and yet i am still able to recruit them? I would guess that it could be the case for all of the units locked behind other building chains - Intended? Guessing not.

With respect, Slaanesh units should be the ones to have vanguard deployment, And the Tzeentch units should have access to a limited amount of magic. Fireball, Perhaps? One cast?
