Hey, I am trying to play those in Serious SAM HD The Second Encounter with my friends in Versus mode - we see the maps but all of the maps says "Cannot load" and then in the console something like cannot open content/seriossamhd/textures/background...

Dear Pan, I wanted to play these maps with some friends, but the majority of the maps can't load. Every time I start the server a message appears saying "impossible to charge the maps". Do you know if there is some way to make them work? Thanks

Read the instructions when you subscribe to each map, you might need to download additional stuff before they work. It's a very common practice for Sam singleplayer maps. Read when you subscribe so you don't miss anything.

Pan, so what should I do? I unsubscribed to all of them, then resubscribed to see if that would solve the issue. I get the crash error red x with a white box or it says unable to load. And i only got one to work but it wont let me save the game without crashing. I uninstalled the game serious sam second encounter HD itself and reinstalled, tried that to. Still same issues. I went to a different computer with the same issues, so it cant be my computers and it cant be the game. There must be a fix for these issues.

I tried all of the single player map mods, and only one ever worked or loaded right, and even that one would crash whenever I would try to save the game. What gives?

Hey buddy, all of trhe stuff you have installed are versus maps. You don't have any single player maps installed Distant Screams is a CTF map. Serious Fantasy Legends is Versus mode. Aztec DM is also Deathmatch. Quake Map Pack is a Deathmatch map pack.

The purple laser gun should work if you pick it up in any moddable mode. The list that you keep seeing under Extras menu isn't where you pick them to play, it just tells you what you have installed and you can deactivate them there. So the only reason you don't see anything under singleplayer is because you have no Single player maps downloaded.

Everything has been enumerated, downloaded and installed automatically, and when it asks me to restart the game, it restarts it for me when i select ok. the only place they show up is under the Workshop Packges under Extras. Nothing under Campaign

Sorry for the miscommunication. Those maps are not there. The main screen under Campaign lists the following items: Load Game, South America, Persia, Medieval, Demo Palenque (Persia and Medieval are greyed out and cannot be selected). ---Then under the Extras, it takes me to a menu with Workshop Packages, then it takes me to the maps and items I am subscribed to, which all are enabled. They are the following: Purple Lasergun, Quake Map Pack, Distant Screams, Aztec DM, and Seriuos Fantasy: Legends HD Edition. All the boxes are enabled for those mod items and maps, and yet NONE of them show up under Campaign, and there is no MODS listing on the main menu either, just in case that was ever an option. So now what I do? I appreciate all the help.

Well you asked me about maps in a map pack for versus mode, so how was I supposed to know? You should be more specific. If you want to play those single player maps then go to Single Player and click Campaign. The new levels should be in the level list there under their own chapters.

If you don't see that, wait on the main menu and let it enumerate packages and wait for it to ask you to restart if you haven't done so already.

I am not talking about multiplayer. The mods I have are single player maps. How can I play those? They show up in the Extras, but not in the main menu as MODS or selections I can play.

Go into Multiplayer -> Versus -> Start Server.

Go to map -> Serious Fantasy Legends HD -> Choose a map to play and then click Start Game, it should play from there. Then invite your friends.

I run this game in moddable mode. When I go into extras the MODS/MAPS show activated because each box is selected, but when i go into the main menu there is no selection that says MODS and nothing that lets me play them. What do I do? All help is appreciated@

Known bugs:
- Need Daisy Cruiser to play on Cell Games Arena
- Old Chaos Shrine is missing a model. Will fix.
- Can parkour in places that you naughty children shouldn't be.
Expect an update tomorrow.

I'm finishing them up for release as I type this out. Be patient. ;) They're always in seperate releases.

This looks great, but what about the characters? Are they also in this mod?
