Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but adding the depth line keeps giving me an error. Oh well, I'll just have to live without the custom decor for now.

for others, Mods was stored in "my documents" not the steamapp folder. needed to add "depth":1, per angrypickle below. code was missing for some reason. now to try it out!

@angrypickle, thanks for the fix. @bosjesman, beautiful tanks!

Hey the tank depth is set to 0. Any chance of a fix?

love this tank - it is compact but adds a lot to the aquarium.

I was able to fix my local copy by editing the circulartank_tanks.data file and in the section labelled "tank" I just added a "depth": 1 like so:

"tank":{
"volumePerTile":8,
"accessHeight":0,
"isRounded":true,
"sunken":true,
"depth": 1
},

Yes this is caused by the dlc.
Will fix soon

Got the same problem with the tank being 0 depth, which doesn't allow the custom plants to go in it.

@Bosjesman, in my game this tank has a depth of 0, is that intentional?
BlueFénix 23 Feb, 2020 @ 11:44am
Thank you for your answer, I put a size 20 on the other tank and it was very funny.
Bosjesman  [author] 23 Feb, 2020 @ 10:06am
This one is way bigger. Install the 2 and you will see a massive difference

How is this tank different from the kreisler cylindrical tank?

Not a criticism, just wondering if it's worth it for me to subscribe to this mod too. Thanks

Glad you enjoy the tank!

As stated, this tank has some great uses, I use it a LOT for my favorite small fish... Showcase fish, if you will. It's great, as long as you aren't trying to house anything with large plant and rock/cave requirements. But, boy, when you throw some really flashy fish in there, they look SO good. :) While not your issue at all, there are some great items in the workshop you could direct people to that can help with this. The brown rock pack has some nice tiny stuff that provide a lot of rock/cave for small tanks, etc.The newer rock pack also has some handy stuff, as well. Thank you for these!

Staff feeds the fish from the edges, no platforms needed.
Editfish 30 Jun, 2019 @ 2:42am
How do the staff feed the fish?

Adjusting size is also not possible. And if possible would be really hard. I currently have nonidea how to make this bigger while it would still be circular. I do have a 3x3 circular tank ready to release later
Bosjesman  [author] 26 Jun, 2019 @ 12:42am
Indeed. This tank is not great for rock and cave lovers. This is because it is really hard to design a cave or rock formation that is 6 tiles high , and 2x2.

This tank does come with a giant kelp. To make it a little bit less empty and for your plant loving fish.

This tank, as well as the other variants available in the steam workshop, are really convenient tanks for dead space that can occur between tank lay outs or to give a picky fish an easy home. Despite the height there is no need for stairs for your employees.

A few downsides to the tanks is you can't adjust their size, so each tank is their own size and that's it. You also need to really plan what fish you intend to put in these tanks when you want to work on synergies to maximize visitor value due to the kelp and rock formations that come with these tanks being your main source of rock, shelter and plant attributes. This limits you in being unable to put a high plant requiring fish with a high rock requiring fish.

Overall, I highly recommend these tanks for variety of shapes and layouts and not requiring stairs. They also really show off Demoiselles well.
