For "Dog" maybe make it a mutt, because there are plenty of dog species. Or just make your own "designer" dog. :) Make sure it is a named species cause we have named species of dogs already.

its a mod that allows you to forceably raise and or lower the texture fidellity at the cost of ram. so if you have 32gb like me you can abuse your game like it deserves to be abused.
