I also learned a valuable lesson in de-confliction...When the mortar strike i called in took out my CAS littlebird as it did a gun run :D

@Vojtzech: Thank you for letting me know, I think I know what the problem is and have updated the mission. The AI acts somewhat strangely at times, but I believe I have fixed it now.

Started really good but when I reached the factory, allmost all the units were allready dead (I didn't take long to reach it) only one sniper left. I killed him, swept whole factory, every building but found no one. My map was showing me some enemy rifle man, who acording by the map was running all around me, but there was no one.

@Anthallas: Ok, I did not know that you could disable showing waypoints. But now that you mention it I can understand that it would not make any sense at all where to go =]. I have tweaked the mission now so that the supports are provided and the first task assigned when you move to the crates right in front of the team leader. If you do play it again please let me know if there are any other issues when playing with full realism settings.

@pergitepergite No, we play with full realism settings,so the game will not show waypoints. Had no idea where we were supposed to go:)

@zagan01: sorry to hear that! The support modules used in the editor seems to be a bit glitchy and the developers are saying on the Arma3 feedback forum that this issue may be fixed with an update that is due mon-wed. I have uploaded a new version of the mission that works out fine when I download and play it from the workshop. Please try again and let me know if it still does not work.

doesn't work, the whole support doesn't come up with anything and the keybinds don't work either going by the task thing in the map? In the description says to read the breif but nothing comes up if there's meant to be something coming up, also is this a timed mission as 1 of the tasks says you need to attack at night, yet I got the feeling after 15 mins it was starting to come into dawn.

I checked out the options to see if there was anything bound but nothing so quit the mission no point playing if it's not working.

@Truther: Sorry to hear that. Another user has also reported problems with the chopper. It seems that the Support Module for helicopter transport that is available in the editor is a bit glitchy. Concerning the lag at the base I will update the mission with a bit fewer vehicles. I use a high-end pc myself and was not aware that the current number of vehicles at the base can cause lag.

@Anthallas: Did you move to the first waypoint? The supports are triggered when the group leader arrives at the first waypoint which is about 80m from where you start.

Choppers broke and its super laggy, way to many vehicles at base.

I was unable to find the chopper that was supposed to take as to the target. The support menu was also empty:/

@Sheppard: There, I've uploaded a new version of the scenario. I encountered the same problem as you did after i added some custom music to the scenario. That has ben cut and now the game seems to be able to download the content without problem. Hopefully this issue will be fixed with an update so we can have custom music in our scenarios. Let me know if the problem persists.

@Sheppard: Apparently this is a problem with the Steam client. It has been reported to Valve according to this Arma3 feedback thread http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=14440&nbn=4
I will try to upload a new version asap to see if this may fix the problem.

When I try to start the mission Arma says "downloading Steam file"....after a few seconds it says "Downloading of the steam file has faile"... how can I fix it?

@Flaming_Alpaca: Roger! I have not come across that problem at all when playing through the mission myself, so thank you for letting me know! I will definitely have a look at why the Helicopter Transport Support Module is behaving in such a treasonous way! The module is synchronized with an actual UH-80 Ghost Hawk helicopter, but maybe switching it to a virtual transport module will make it less glitchy. And maybe a few more invisible helipads around the disembarkation point might help.

I wasted 45 minutes of my life trying to get the transport helicopter to complete the simple task of flying my squad where I told him to, landing and letting us get out. Usually the pilot would say "Duh... everyone in? lets get out of here!" then he would boot a random number of my guys sometimes including me out of the chopper and take off with out us. On my 7th try he actually flew us to the heli infil point but then wouldn't land and just hovered about 200 feet AGL ignoring my orders to land in the clearing. I think if you made the Heli not a one time support so we could try again without enduring the slow altis loading times then this mission could be fun, but this time around the most combat I saw was blowing up the treasonous Helicopter crew with a PCML.

@simone.medusa: Thank you! I see your point, the resistance at the factory is perhaps a bit on the easy side. And perhaps a nasty ambush when the team is waiting for extraction would set the difficulty on a better level. Will update with improvements.

Not bad not bad, maybe a more populated factory and a little skirmish at the final extraction just to add some (more) difficulty!
