I was just hoping to see if the Electro/Hydro problem you were having was fixed or if you were able to find a work around it because id also like to see an Electro/Hydro thruster with the V1 performance.
do yo plan to add your own thruster models to this?
Please discuss with them, I'd like to see this woking
I am completely new to scripting but already started to draft one from seeing advise about doing it via a script from reddit. It be fun getting it going as having thrusters that require two sources of fuel would be pretty damn cool. Especially making it that say if hydrogen is knocked offline, it draws solely from power but drops thruster force power. Vice versa with cutting off power and only running off hydrogen.
quick question:
Can modded thrusters use both hydrogen and electricity or only one because it is hardcoded?

Idk about from the sbc file, but from a script that's definitely possible, in fact there is no limit to how many different types of resources something needs.

ok thanks

Technically they already do, just the electricity is consumed in a very tiny amount

just mention him in #modders-workshop
That would be sad of course but go ask a modder like Kreeg on Discord, he should know...
Well, that's your thing.
Perhaps it wanted to adjust - to balance construction costs.
Because your engines do not consume gas as fuel, but energy like Ion thrusters, they should have similar construction costs. Missing there 'componnet thrusters "? It would be logical for the transmission of energy into the thrusters, add Superconductors.
This will avoid the use of platinum and still be reasonably logical "real".
