Genuinely surprised we never saw a boomerang for Sniper. It makes perfect sense, and would be mechanically interesting.

Just a suggestion i made, instead of minicritting the enemy they can get stunned for a dependable amount of time (depending on how far you tre the boomerang)

Call it the native's neutraliser

the stats should be:

it does 25% less damage
is throwable
if it hits a wall u have no melee untill u pick it up again or if u wait for the bar to fill up (like the cleaver for scout)
if it does not hit an enemy or a wall it comes back to you and it can do damage even when coming back

I have an idea:
First rename It "Boom-Merang"
and now some stats:

PROS - A throwable weapon that makes the enemie bleed for 10 seconds.
Whenever you get a Headshot with your sniper rifle, the further you can throw the "Boom-Merang", making It easy to hit players that are far from you.

CONS- If you throw the "Boom-Merang" and miss your target you'll need to wait 20 seconds.
No random critical hits.

You equip It as a Secondary Slot Weapon (Like Scout's Flying Guillotine).

I'd totally use this. This would seriously bring back memories of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger(by Krome Studios). Sniper using a boomerang? The Ty series was always about an Australian Tiger(Tasmanian, obviously Australian) and his major weapon was a boomerang. I'd so use this Valve please make

between this and the BOOMerang, Valve has the makings of a new weapon class altogether! I really hope they take advantage of that!
