Would have been nicer if this map was just based on the Battle of Cape Gloucester, which had rain like this and involved the USMC and IJA. Would have been more historically accurate that way.

Just saying it never rained on Wake during the battle and the men had WWI helmets and Springfields not M1s and 1919.a6s

is this the one with the SNLF marines on it?

You should make a Bougainville map.

the correct SNLF Marines have been added back in thanks to some modders

Every time i play this map my screen goes fully black when im being suppressed and when i spectate my screen is completely black and its only on this map why

this map isn't too bad, Don they just need to make bots not to be able to see players through impossibly thick foliage.

Hate this map. I hope all servers take it out of their rotation because it is HORRIBLE

I only ge blacscreen with players names running aroun. Ive asked for help. It seems popular I'd like tio try it.

I really don't like how you missed little details such as lining up the Vehicles with the road and such. And not making it more "wet," what I mean by that, it needs to have a drowning feel, puddles everywhere, you know? I mean, late war Japan smashed the US morale because of the heavy rains. Also those lack of tracks on scattered jeeps bother me.... :s

I guess that's just my OCD talking though...

not gonna lie... this map is quite unfocused, i found myself getting lost even by using the Map.

Terrible terrible map. The Japanese NEVER win, in all the dozens of games I've played on this map

Map is way too open and distances are overly large, causing unnecessary running.. defenders can literally hide anywhere and make attacking troubled.. very dull to play. Only good thing I can find is rain and lighting in map

I wish more servers would use this map, I really liked it the first time around.

This map is fantastic it really reminds me of RO 1 and makes the game feel the way it should, the atmospheric sounds / whether really tie into the jungle scene nicely and makes the games graphics flourish. Great use of terrain foliage / hills and such.
Hope you continue to make RO 1-esc maps :)

Make sure you download the version thats in the twi forum. this is an older version.

wolverine , it woks fine on my pc but when we vote it in onthe dedicated server i uploaded it to it just goes to iwojima, the providore unzipped it andmoved all relevant files to like named locations in their files at the server end any ideas?
